We stopped here for 1 night on a return journey from Fort William, the manager greeted us and sat and had a chat in the beer garden, lovely guy, he let us store our bikes in the back garden so they'd be safe - really...More

Hi it is accessible by bus from the airport, you would get the First Glasgow service 747 to Renfrew cross then it would be a short walk or a taxi from the airport direct to the ferry inn would cost you less than £10. (I would recommend the taxi option the bus is £4.50 per person so works out about the same by taxi.
The easiest way to get the train to Oban would be to cross the river Clyde by ferry (5 minute journey, ferry every 10 minutes directly from outside the Ferry Inn) a short walk to Yoker station, you would get on the train at Yoker, change at Dalmuir and get the train to Oban about a 3 hour journey in total.
Hope that helps
