We loved our stay at the Bein Inn! The Superior Room #2 which we stayed in, is just along from the main part of the Inn, was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and generous. Theresa and her Daughter-in-law Adele were great hosts, very friendly and hospitable, they made us feel most welcome. We would definitely return, they...

booked for Sat evening meal only (for 4). Was not busy on arrival, but we had booked for early meal (7pm). Very warm welcome, nice cozy and comfortable dining room, we had a varied choice from the extensive menu. From excellent Fish and Chips, Roast Beef, and Sirloin steak, to sticky toffee pudding and cheese board. Impossible to fault the...

There is only one good thing that stands for this place and that is the food. The rooms are shabby, need updating, we left after our dinner as the state of the room was drastic. There was stains on the bedding. We will not be going back in a hurry

I was in holiday for few days in April in Scotland and I stayed at the "famous" Bein Inn. When I arrived I asked for another room and they upgraded me in a superior room which I found to be with the heating off and the nice company of two Spiders in the bathroom. Because we were very tired at...

The room we had was very acceptable and up to the standard of this type of hotel ( Inn ). There was a complimentary bottle of sparking wine in the room when we arrived. The public areas are very cosy . The included evening main course meal was well presented and cooked perfectly. The staff were very friendly and helpful....

Stayed here with my partner on 5/4/15. First impressions were that it needs a bit of TLC but once inside the receptionist was very helpful, polite and professional. He showed us to our room which was clean and had the comfiest bed I have ever slept in. Dinner was enjoyable I had the venison burger and my partner the steak pie....

Where shall we start? The Bein inn offers a takeaway menu so we thought we would try it. We ordered our food and were advised it would take 20 minutes to half an hour. This is the normal time for fresh food to be cooked. So we went up there after half an hour and were told to take a...

Went here on a Saturday night. Waited 15mins to be even given a menu and had to go up to the bar to get our own drinks! We then ordered and starter took an hour to arrive! Then 45 mins for the main course to come, wasn't overly busy and no sorry or explanation as to why we were waiting...

Charming quiet getaway. Relaxing family atmosphere, great food and pleasant staff. Was a little reluctant after booking then reading some reviews on here but just goes to show you cant please everyone all of the time. Room was cosy, clean and comfortable. Felt quite at home chilling out in front of log fire. We will definitely look at going back...

Have eaten here in the past and it has been very good, however on our previous visit @ 6 months ago the chef allegedly lost our food order and it was over an hour before he started cooking it, as an apology we were offered a complimentary cup of coffee. Everyone has an off day, so we thought to give...
