We booked one of the Katas for 6 of us for our friends 40th birthday. I wasn’t sure what to expect and , to be honest, I am not really a ‘camping outdoors’ type of person but I was totally blown away by the facilities and the place. The Katas are much bigger inside than they

Hi Fee! Wow what a great way to spend a birthday. Our Kata's are a great step up from camping but still more rustic than glamping. Glad you all had a good time, and excited to hear you're coming back with your man and kids! Hopefully see you soon, Amanda

Stayed for 2 nights in September in the middle meadow, had fantastic views over the fields and hills. Campsite was well kept and allowed us to build a fire using the fire pits supplied at Comrie croft. The onsite café served lovely homemade food salads, pies, quiches and cakes

Hi Jacky, Great to hear from you. Sounds like you and your son had a fab time here at the Croft. Thanks for pointing out about the cash at the cafe, I know it can be a frustration. It's something Alli is going to try and change for next year. Glad you liked having a fire too. Camping isn't camping without a fire, toasting (well burning) marshmallows or even just sitting chatting. Hope to see you all back soon, Amanda

Just home from a great weekends camping at Comrie Croft. We booked 2 pitches for camping on high meadow for our family of four and our two dogs plus our pals, their son and dog. Staff were fantastic from the start - we had to postpone the trip from a few weeks prior because of

Thanks so much for taking time to review us! Sounds like you and your friends/family had a fab time. The high meadow is one of my favourites too, so nice to wake up to the view across the valley. Camping isn't camping without a fire and marshmallow so I'm glad you got time to do that. Hope to see you all and the dogs back to see us soon. Amanda

Stayed 3 nights on a woodland pitch which was made of a raised gravel platform. This made a flat well drained pitch among the trees though getting a couple of the pegs in was tricky and the surface was on a slight incline to one side. The facilities are clean and well maintained

Had a great time here with 5 families in the upper meadow which had lovely views. Very child friendly and we had lots of young kids with us. Their favourite thing to play on was the wheelbarrow! That's their Christmas sorted 😆

Haha, brilliant of all the toys they could play with the wheelbarrow was the best! Sounds like you had a great stay, thanks for coming to the Croft. Hope to see you back next year, we'll try and get more wheelbarrows too. Amanda

Hi Can you bring your own logs?
Yes. You can get wood locally but not from site..there are a few forests in the area, so don't buy it. Regards. John.

Im afraid im not sure about the price for tents, have you had a look on their website? I wouldn't hesitate to give them a call, all the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. But I would definitely recommend a 10 minute drive to the Royal Comrie Hotel for food. There's nothing much at all around, and Comrie is the closest place. Its not ideal for walking as there are no pavements most of the way. Me and my partner had one of the best meals we've had there, and its a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Hope this helps!

We went in June July. We had no midges at comrie croft. The little shop sells all the necessary tools to try to keep them away... candles, repellet and wood can be bought for the raised firepits that can be found in certain areas. I bought a midgy head net just incase of an attack. Yes you may look silly but it's worth it.
