My partner and I found this place last minute on a spur of the moment trip and we landed on our feet, this place was basic but very clean and quiet in a very beautiful area. If you're looking for somewhere peaceful this is a great place to stay. The man who checked us in was lovely and helpful. I recommend this place for a short stay of one or two nights.

Stayed here in a twin room with my friend and two dogs for a wee one night stay. The room was clean and comfortable with a kettle to make drinks and a decent sized ensuite shower room. The owner, John, was very pleasant and helpful when making requests for extra milk sachets when we'd forgotten to buy milk and a pen and paper to help us keep score at scrabble. As neither of us drink we didnt use the bar but, although a little dark, it looked cosy enough. We were shown the wee kitchen to use if we'd wanted and it seemed perfectly fine and serviceable but as we had brought a picnic and snacks with us we didnt need to make use of it. The downstairs communal rooms are a little gloomy and unwelcoming and it would have been nice to have a tv in the room even if only one that played dvd's. There is a tv in one of the downstairs communal areas and some dvds but, as I said, it lacked whatever a room needs to encourage people to use it. Generally I thought this place was well worth the money paid but perhaps a little attention to the 'first impressions' of the car park and the reception area might endear it more to its customers especially on first sight.…

Popped in for a drink on the way back to our rented cottage. It is a bit like walking into a pre war hunting lodge with historic furniture and fittings everywhere. The bar is very dimly lit and jazz music was playing which created an unique and charming atmosphere. The owner was friendly and interesting and he keeps his beer beautifully. There was one other couple in the bar who were staying the night. This is an unique place which while very niche deserves more custom.

After seeing mixture of reviews i booked anyway. Two kids in tow - a 9 month old and a 5yr old, room was perfectly adequate for what we needed. New bedding, fresh towels, just like a travel lodge just more homey. A nice quirky place. Literally just used the bed and shower as we were out late the day before and early the day after so suited us. £120 reasonable for a family room in the location

Though the bedding and towels were clean, the self-catering kitchen was absolutely dire and we and everyone else either got a take-away or ate in town. We could have handled 'basic' but filthy grey dishrags, cracks in surfaces full of dirt, old dirty cupboard with no doors, strong fusty smell, etc etc. Just don't.

Loved our stay at Weem Inn. Very reasonable price. Had the basics that we needed in the room . Liked how it was quirky and a bit different. Liked how there was no tv in the room as the last thing you should do in this location is be in the room watching tv. downstairs area very interesting and felt at home enjoying a drink downstairs playing the spare guitars. Lovely scenic walk in to aberfeldy via paths alongside the roads. No breakfast but kitchen that can be used for self catering. If your looking for 5 star luxuries or standard travel lodge furnishings this may not be the place for you but if you like interesting, friendly, homely and good location for good value this place is recommended

Stayed here for New Years eve after hiking for a few days. I'd blistered my feet really badly and Peter (one of the owners) found me a spare pair of crocs and a blister plasters to patch up my feet. He really went above and beyond. Later that evening there was a brilliant live musician in the bar. All the employees were warm and welcoming and really went out of their way to make us feel welcome!

Stopped in for an evening drink with friends, and despite looking OK on the outside, was rather grim inside. The bar was very dark, hardly any lighting, and no atmosphere. We were the only people in there with the barman, and it was badly in need of some investment and upgrade. It was firmly situated in the 1980s in décor. Despite this, the beer was OK, and if some money was spent, it has a fair bit of potential.

What an absolute dive. I got charged £240 for two nights in a family room which was dirty and in dire need of upgrading like the rest of the hotel. They had no chef so got no breakfast. The room itself was very small and had a set of bunk beds and two single beds. When we moved the beds their was a thick layer of dust. The bunk beds had broken slats below the top bunk one of which was left under the covers with a screw sticking out. Their was no television in the room either and no new towels were brought for the second night. Do not book this. It`s horrendous.

We have just spent a lovely few days staying at the Weem Inn. It's just outside Aberfeldy a few minutes by car. The room was a good size double with ensuite bathroom and walk in shower. The breakfasts were amazingh we had full english and I am sure Liz the cook couldn't have got anything else on the plate! Well stocked bar with games for those who wanted them also guitars to play is so inclined. The homemade soup was piping hot and delicious as were the sandwiches with home made coleslaw. The staff couldn't have been mpore accomodating. We shall certainly be back.
