Definately not a four star hotel, but for the price I was more than satisfied. It's clean but not fancy. Cozy fireplace at night in the pub, with pianos and guitars strewn everywhere available to play, which a couple fellow patrons were playing one evening while I was there. Staff is very friendly and accommadating when asking for extra towels... More

Awful. Unwelcoming staff ( well, the owner as there appeared to be no staff). The room was not cleaned during the stay. The towel smelled like it had been used by the previous guest and put back on the shelf.water leaked from the room above. When we complained he gave us a bucket. Breakfast was aldi cereal and bread left... More

I'm still not sure how to write a review on this place. As others have mentioned, I would say that joint owners John and Peter were very pleasant. However, they are certainly not hoteliers and the ramshackle of a two night stay we experienced at the Weem Inn will certainly not be forgotten. Our group of 20(ish) was booked in... More

This place really is a comedy of errors. The hotel has heaps of character and the surrounding area is stunning. Peter, John and the friend they got to prepare the dubious breakfast all seem like decent lads but hoteliers they are most certainly not. If you fancy a hotel run like a eccentric hostel then this is the place for... More

We stayed for 2 nights. We weren't expecting luxury as we just wanted a comfortable base to explore the surrounding area. What we got was a youth hostel at hotel prices. The room was basic but with a lack of clean towels and a TV that was unable to access any channels. A 'fear & loathing in Las Vegas' DVD... More

We had booked a getaway on groupon from the stresses of work and found the surrounding area scenic restful and full of history. The service was top marks. Ester went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable after finding out it was my birthday they got us chocolate which was definitely a nice touch . Peter was friendly... More

We were greeted by Peter, one of the owners, who is full of stories and took pains to make us feel welcome, making me tea and introducing us to some of the other guests. He had great tips about local walks and places to visit. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. I loved it!

I do not usually write reviews but on this occasion feel compelled to share our experience with other travellers. Having read the reviews here we knew what we might expect to experience at the Weem Inn and in a way we were looking forward to some of the eccentricities. However, the reality was that any enjoyment gleaned from the 'quaint'... More

Reviews I have read have been mixed but it all depends on your expectations. The Weem Inn is not a travelodge clone, it's an old Highland inn full of character and characters. Having said that my room was very comfortable and I was made very welcome. Parking is good and the location is great for visiting some of the best... More

OK, you won't find a sparkling white modern interior and some things clearly need sprucing up but if you can accept that , i recommend staying on a music night especially if you can negotiate a good deal I do agree with other reviewers that new towels are needed and a cooked breakfast should be offered at a reasonable price...
