We were very lucky when we called in by chance on Saturday night. What a place; full of character. Peter was, as previous reviewers have noted was very welcoming, friendly and genuinely interested in his customers. The bar / dining area / lounges are fortunately from an era gone by, such relaxing places to spend a few hours, eating, drinking,... More

The wee inn isn't one of those other hotels; all fur coat nae nickers, but it is absolutely fantastic! The open fire by the bar spits pleasant heat on you the the hospitality by the staff was really lifting and welcoming. The beds were very comfortable and the power shower was great. All in all I had a lovely time... More

Partner and I spent two nights here. Staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating. Warm and cosy lounge/bar area with fireplace was delightful and we enjoyed listening to some live music on one night. Room was modest and comfortable with an excellent shower. Overall had a very enjoyable time here!

Peter was so welcoming and hospitable, we were staying close by in the village and spent the nights drinking in the pub next to the open fire. He has a fine selection of whisky and beer, for anyone who fancies a real highland experience, head to Weem and check this place out!

Peter welcomed my friends & I with real warmth, despite admitting to not being fully operational when we arrived. We couldn't have asked for friendlier service, and he really made our stay. I look forward to visiting again when next in the neighbourhood of this picturesque spot.

Very quiet, delightfully quirky building but looking a bit tired BUT work is in PROGRESS They are open to constructive criticism. Breakfasts were excellent quality and the quantity was the same. The staff were warm and friendly and we would have no hesitation in returning. Libby (Devon) & Ann (Hampshire)

Dropped in this afternoon. Had an excellent soup by candlelight in front of a roaring fire in a wood-panelled, atmospheric bar. The building is typical of an old inn and is being lovingly restored. It's also in a beautiful location, especially with the late autumn colours. Peter is a genial host and most informative. Planning a return trip.

Arrived to a warm welcome by the staff. The bedroom was clean with 'eclectic furniture' with a lovely big bathroom. In the lounge, there are big relaxing sofas beside a big open roaring fire, & bar. Music instruments hang on the wall & am sure if u wanted to play either piano or guitar you're more than welcome too. Saturday... More

Just home from a one night stay. This hotel is in short. Is a good place to see the surrounding area. Very accommodating. Rooms are basic and clean. The hotel needs work done to it yes but when you pay £114 for 2 couples don't look for a 4 or 5 star hotel!! We needed a place that was clean... More

All in all a really good place to spend a night in Scotland! Of course it is no luxury hotel but for people travelling through Scotland the perfect place to spend a couple of nights, if in a group or alone it doesn't matter and to go a little back in time. The people working there were helpful and always... More
