We were really looking forward to Sunday lunch here. Unfortunately it did not live up to expectations. No warm welcome, the food served on cold plates which made the food luke warm, roast beef was not that good, the broccoli was yellow, carrots hard and so left most of it - couldn't even be bothered to try a desert. Paid... More

Popped in for Sunday lunch as staying along at The Bothy - Craggantoul. Roast beef was delicious (and plenty of it!), mashed tatties were actual tatties!! (All restaurants near where we live generally seem to serve some sort of smash/instant potato so this was a lovely change!) and the Yorkshire pudding.... Perfect! Dare I say it, would have given my... More

We have been regular visitors to the Aberfeldy area over many years so this review is based upon our most recent visits which usually totalled three in the two week holiday we recently enjoyed. We have over the years visited Lawers Hotel many times returning usually from Glencoe area or further afield. We have never stayed but have frequented the... More

This is a lovely place to stop over for a bit to eat and drink. Tuesday and Wednesday and Thursday are days that you can get a bit to eat. The staff are very friendly and if you need a sleep over you can do that. There is a great selection of hills around this area. Ben Lawers group is... More

Lovely place with amazing Loch Tay views. This friendly place had no vacancy for us on the days we stayed in this pretty region, however we managed to stay not far from this hotel / restaurant and we had a chance to try their delicious dinner and next day morning breakfast. Owner and chef were very friendly and welcoming us... More

This was a last minute booking due to a change in plans, so we were thrilled to be able to stay in such a nice hotel for three nights. The room was very clean and spacious and the restaurant provided a welcome setting for a tasty dinner. Paul lent us walking maps, so we hiked and explored the surrounding countryside,... More

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights while taking part in the Great Kindrochit Quadrathlon. From the moment we arrived the owners were fantastic. Very friendly and could not do enough for us. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. The hospitality was superb and we will definitely return. Maybe next year for the Quad!... Had a great over night stay here after doing some walking. I loved it, I found it really quaint. The room was perfect, spacious and clean. The food we had was great, portions were ideal for us after a long day walking. Food and drink reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Definitely be back.

We only had a night here whilst climbing some mountains in the area but we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return - hopefully for a longer visit next time. The staff are very friendly, and our room was comfortable, with gorgeous views from every window and a bath for a nice long soak (perfect after going out walking!)... More
