Annette as usual welcomed us with a lovely tea and home made scones. We usually travel up to Scotland once or twice a year and have stayed in other B/B but none of them are as cosy and friendly as Fernbank House. My husband won't consider anywhere else. The room was spotless and cosy and the breakfast was scrumptious. Annette...

Our room was freezing cold and we found the owner unwelcoming and quite rude. We were told to remove our shoes at the door (I could understand for walking boots but our shoes were normal shoes and it had not been raining - so remember to bring your slippers if you don't want to be walking around in your stocking...

We booked last minute and were delighted with the accommodation when we arrived. The room was spacious and spotless and offered everything we required, free wifi included. Breakfast was lovely and there was a great selection of food to chose from. Would definitely stay here again or recommend to friends.

Arrived a little early i.e. 2.30pm and was asked to go away and come back as the female owner was going out to the shops. Nice welcome. From that point onward I never felt welcome. I think that this place is run around the owner's timetable and not that of her fee paying guests. There was a questionnaire thrust upon...

Very comfortable, and cosy room. Lovely cream tea treat, excellent fried breakfast, enjoyed the whisky flavoured porridge and home made jams. Annette was very friendly and helpful. This is a lovely part of Perthshire with much to see and do.

Stayed for two nights at the beginning of November. Picked at random and at the last minute. Only the family room left, what a room. Huge, massive bed, comfortable, all mod cons and a bath that you could do lengths in. Used as a base to bag some monros and quite a base it is. Close to the centre of...

This is a very comfortable place to stay close to the centre of Aberfeldy. Annette makes a fabulous breakfast which includes delicious sausages from the family butchers shop. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. It was easy to walk everywhere including "up The Birks". Aberfeldy is a great centre for the area. There are plenty of eating places in...

We arrived quite late and the lady was waiting for us to gives us the key and show us our room. She is a friendly lady. The room was spacious and clean. Bed is really comfortable. The only thing that annoyed me the hot water didn't come quickly in the night. There is also a collections of DVDs to watch....

We were given an overnight B and B with afternoon tea by our Daughter for Christmas. She had got a deal from the itison site. We had no idea what to expect as you hear some horror stories, but our time in Fernbank house was lovely. The house had a very welcoming "feel" about it, and Annette our hostess couldn"t have...

We were given a voucher for overnight with afternoon tea at this B&B as an Itison gift. If you're looking for ultra modern then forget it. The hotel is compact and old fashioned but with great attention to detail. China cups and saucers, linen napkins and attentive, friendly service thanks to Maureen who went out of her way to accommodate.Room...
