We spent 2 nights at Eastward and enjoyed a very warm and attentive welcome, luxurious en suite rooms and fabulous cuisine. We will certainly stay there again at the earliest opportunity, and will recommend Eastward to our friends. Thank you Keiko and Patrick for getting it so right.

We stayed at the Eastward Guest House with Patrick and Keiko for 5 days the beginning of June with another couple. Our friends had the Daisy Fields room with ensuite and we had Cherry Blossom with private facilities in the hall. Both rooms were lovely, spacious, immaculately clean. Lovely, large gathering room with anything you could ever want ... gorgeous... More

We enjoyed a fantastic trip to Orkney and a key element was the friendly welcome, detailed local knowledge and excellent food at the Eastward Guest House. The varied and extensive menu on offer is best arranged in advance. There is a large and well fitted lounge whilst the rooms were clean and attractive.

Our stay at Eastward House was a wonderful experience. The house itself is a converted church which has been done beautifully. Lovely comfy beds and luxurious bathrooms. The views were breathtaking and the host and hostess very welcoming and accommodating. The breakfasts were wonderful and the Japanese dining experience should not be missed. I cannot recommend Eastward House highly enough.... More

My two children and I spent a much anticipated three nights with Patrick and Keiko and their family earlier this August. We had all been looking forward to seeing amazing and mysterious Orkney but we had also looked forward to meeting these special people. We were welcomed with open arms and shown to light comfortable rooms with views of the... More

We have just returned from a week in Orkney - staying 3 nights in this lovely B and B and 4 nights in the self catering Cressex Lodge next door. The quality of the accommodation and attention to detail is excellent. The food was amazing - we had the Kyoto Twilight menu for our dinner on the first night and... More

Beautiful room, stunning views, & a luxurious sitting room. Lots of space. Magical location, in the midst of spectacular scenery & coastline, but perhaps the most amazing thing is the wonderful food & cooking. Best breakfast ever! And the most wonderful Japanese food I have ever had.

For our first trip to Orkney we were very lucky to have found Eatward Guest house. Comfy beds, lovely guest lounge and lots of helpful advice but the real bonus was the amazing food. Keiko and Patrick made wonderful breakfasts - not your usual full English (unless that is what you want) . We were fortunate enough to book in time... More
