Had the great please to stay at this hotel in May of this year. The staff and owners are wonderful people and did everything to make our stay very enjoyable. The town of Rothes is nice and very picturesque part of the country hope to return again some day. The home cooked meals were some of the best on our... More

A one night stay, with a warm welcome in a small family run hotel Room clean and tidy, breakfast cooked to order Would recommend for short stay work or play If you like whisky there's s wide range of options and the hotel is in the middle of town with 4 distilleries - Glenrothes, Glen Grant to name 2

Visited here for 1 night during the whiskey festival. It is not possible to fault the service. They even opened both the restaurant and the bar just for me and my friends, we felt really really welcome. The hotel is however rather dated and it would benefit from a deep clean.Based on what we paid it was not good value... More

We did not plan to stay at this Hotel but since there was no bnb with vacancies to be found we decided to try it. And it is a good thing we did because this hotel offered a very good dinner, a great whisky bar and a nice breakfast. The room was rather spacious and featured a king size bed,... More

The hotel is right on Rothes High Street within 10 mins of about seven or eight distilleries so the location is first rate. The rooms are comforable and tick all of the box's as well. But the best of all is the people in the hotel, each and every one of them was friendly, helpfull and really made you feel... More

The Spey valley and its river walks are beautiful, and we were fortunate to stay at this hotel. One of us has a wheelchair, and there is a dedicated room and others, quiet, comfortable and well equipped on the ground floor. The food was lovely with a wide choice, and the bar a Whisky dream-with all the rest as well.... More

Recently stayed at the Eastbank for two nights. Maureen and her staff made my son and I feel as though we were part of the family. Helpful, gracious and accomodating at every turn. Our room, at the front facing street level, while somewhat noisy with traffic, was large and adequately comfortable. Needs a new mattress on the second bed. The... More

We had a great stay at eastbank. The staff was more than helpful and Cathy made us an unbelievable breakfast. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was gigantic which was very convenient. It is within a few minutes drive of the scotch distillery but thats about it. There is nothing else to do in Rothes. I wouldn't stay... More
