Very handy for the golf course. Nice staff. Rooms could do with a little bit of renovation. Reasonable breakfast included. I'd say it was good for famalies, couples and single stays but short ones. Car park is welcome but watch out for the steep slope to it.

I did not stay here but recently visited for lunch with my mother and gran who were visiting from Ayrshire. We found our own table in the conservatory which has amazing views onto the golf course and you can easily see the beach and the lossie lighthouse. The menu is a typical bar menu with vegetarian options, i think maybe... More

Booked disabled room early June and even had telephone conversation post booking to confirm suitability. Explained the importance of the booking as where my parents met 60 years ago and dad now terminally ill and so on - hence final holiday! Guess what a month later a letter to say double booked so not available for us. Oh they did... More

We stayed in a family room in the Annexe of Skerry Brae for three nights in early June 2016. The room was really good. There was a double bed & two singles for the children. There was bags of space, loads of towels, great heating & hot water & the best thing (according to the kids) was that the wifi... More

Had a wonderful family evening meal, views exceptional over the Moray Firth, staff were great and food excellent. Family friendly atmosphere, would highly recommend this place. We were lucky enough to be able to sit outside as the weather was beautiful.

The Skerry Brae Hotel is a great hotel. We have stayed there twice now and got a great welcome from lovely staff. The food is very good and VERY reasonable. We had a lovely view of the sea from the bedroom. Shame we didn't see the dolphins!!
