Last minute booking and absolutely delighted with our stay. The room was small but had everything required, clean and comfortable. Perhaps too hot. The food was excellent and found the staff exceptionally nice. Compared to lots of other places you were greeted with a friendly face and ever so helpful. Something that is so much lacking nowadays. The restaurant is... More

A beautiful location, great staff and good food. Ask for a premier room and treat yourself. This is as good as you will find anywhere. Beautifully decorated and views to take your breath away. The staff are really helpful and friendly.

First trip to Arran, booked very late on and so glad I stumbled upon Lamlash and Glenisle Hotel. Lovely hotel, lovely room, staff very friendly and welcoming, food very good too. The weather even behaved on day 2 and I saw some sun

Booked an evening meal at the Bistro. The food and service was excellent. They had just introduced their winter menu and we weren't disappointed. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly without being obtrusive, and very knowledgable about all local produce used. Can highly recommend.

We have just got back from 3 nights here and loved our stay. We booked a superior room and had a wonderful view across to the Holy Isle. Good size room with tea/coffee making facilities. Nice toiletries in the bathroom (Arran Aromatics). Shower over bath didn't have great water pressure however was good enough. Staff were very friendly and helpful.... More

We stayed for two nights at the Glenisle. The lobby and restaurant area were nice with outdoor eating which had a great view. We were on the second floor; however, had to walk up several flights of stairs. The room and bath were small, yet comfortable. Fine for the two night stay. It was around 85 degrees and we had... Stayed at the Glenisle Hotel when visiting Arran, views to die for, a stunning hotel, great food, clean and well designed rooms but best of all and so unusual in today's world - well trained and polite staff

Just back from a weekend on Arran, the hotel was fantastic, we were allowed an early check in & a late check out to enable us to squeeze as much in to our time on the island possible. We ate in the restaurant on Saturday night and were very impressed, I had the langoustines and my boyfriend had the scallops... More

My wife and I spent a night in the Glenisle Hotel Premier Suite and it's a wonderful suite as you can see from the website photographs. Room 14 spans the full width of the building, originally the attic space and it has been brilliantly renovated and maintained to a high standard as is the decor of the hotel's public areas.... More
