Great place to chill or go walking. Can't comment on all the rooms but what we had was excellent, spacious and equipped with everything needed. The swimming pools are spotless and well maintained. The grounds are immaculate and the views stunning. Ok, it was brilliant sunshine while we were there and that prejudices and observations but we were well pleased!...

This is an excellent place to stay on wonderful Arran but it's booking system and pricing is really strange. You don't get a chart showing the price variance you have to play monopoly and keep putting in dates to find the lower prices.......very frustrating we nearly gave up. Our friends did!! However the place is excellent, staff are obvously well...

This is a great resort, from the warm welcome at the reception the Auchrannie shines with professionalism and pride. A truly fantastic experience. Staff are excellent and very efficient and have good knowledge of the area. Rooms are very comfortable, clean and spacious. Food is plentiful and of a good standard. Ideally located within a few minutes if the ferry...

Highly recommend the fantastic lodges. Every need is catered for. If out at night a torch is supplied for the walk to the main road. Care is needed as one of our party had an unfortunate trip. Great restaurants/bars and pool. This is a special yearly treat. I love it.

Just spent an overnight with 5 girlfriends on a dinner/bed & breakfast deal with £20 towards a Spa treatment. The rooms were amazing - I stayed in room 108 - the room was spacious, with plenty of relaxing seating area and a huge wet room. Everything you needed was provided from hairdryer to iron and ironing board. The Spa area...

We had a fabulous Db&b stay here in April and really cannot fault the place! Everything, including dinner and drinks and breakfast were perfect and our room in the Spa Resort building was spacious, modern and clean. The island itself is stunning and I would wholeheartedly return in a minute!!! You won't be disappointed here and you really do get...

I recently stayed at the Auchrannie Resort with some friends for birthday celebrations. This is not the first time we've stayed at the Auchrannie, although it's been a while since our last visit, and we were delighted to find that it still exceeds expectations. This time we stayed in the Spa Resort Executive rooms and greatly enjoyed the rather plush...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
At the heart of the beautiful isle of Arran lies the multi-award winning, family owned Auchrannie Resort. Auchrannie now consists of two four star hotels; the romantic and relaxing ‘House Hotel’ catering for couples and those wanting a more intimate experience whilst the contemporary ‘Spa Resort’ is popular with families and those prefer a more modern feel to their surroundings. In addition, the resort features 30 five-star self-catering lodges (sleeping up to 8 in total luxury and therefore perfect for the extended family), 3 outstanding, award winning restaurants and bars, 2 leisure centres both with pools, destination spa featuring treatments by ESPA and Ishga and an outdoor adventure centre. Arran is Scotland’s most accessible islands, often referred to as "Scotland in Miniature” due to the dramatic contrast between the hills and mountains in the north, and sweeping moorlands on the south of the island. A short 55 minute ferry journey off the Ayrshire coast, Arran is easily reachable by those arriving into any of central Scotland’s main airports as well as those travelling by car, train and coach. Whilst many tourists arrive on the island simply to kick back and relax, the island is packed with attractions and sights for visitors of all ages. ... more   less
