This was my first stop on a 2 week trip around Scotland. Arrived Saturday 4th July and checked out Tuesday 7th July. This Glenartney is located in a beautiful and convenient location in Brodick on the Isle Of Arran. Easy walking distance from the ferry terminal, post office, the Co-Operative Supermarket and other facilities. Beautiful views of the Goatfell and... More

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of Robbie and Angela during our 3 night stay. Rooms were well equipped andvery clean. Some rooms were a bit small, but still very satisfactory. It is located about a half-mile easy walk from the ferry on a nice quiet residential street. Easy walking to restaurants, grocery store, pubs, bank, bakery, etc.... More

A friendly Scottish welcome and warm cosy rooms meant for a pleasant stay. Staff were friendly and accommodating and the breakfasts were superb. The Glenartney is ideally located with many many walks in easy reach and the golf course too. Great cycling location also. Plenty to see and do from a great base.

Having only been to Arran once before & stayed in a self catering cottage I decided to opt for B&B. What a great find. Angela & Robbie are great hosts. The facilities are fantastic. After a few hours out & about great to come back to a nice cuppa with homemade cake ( a fab idea). The breakfast is amazing....great... More

From the moment we walked through the door at Glenartney my friend and I knew we wouldn't stay anywhere else in Arran from now on. The personal touches Angela has created are evident throughout the guesthouse - from the glass entrance door with a multi lingual welcome to the tea and (delicious!) cake that are left for guests to help... We had stayed in the Glenartney a number of years ago and hoped that our memories of the guest house were accurate. We were right! Glenartney is incredibly welcoming, comfortable with all the amenities needed for a perfect stay. The location is ideal, just off the main road in Brodick but within walking distance to a couple of good bars... More

A wonderful gem of a guest house. Angela has created a peaceful, homely haven, proving little things really do mean a lot - the homemade cake left out for guests just one example. I genuinely wouldn't stay anywhere else in Arran now, and I will be back, and back, and back. Loved it.

We stayed in the Nook, more than just a room with en suite, it has a sitting area and small kitchen area, though kitchen area doesn't have a sink, it's in between a guest house room and self catering! Very comfortable and plenty space for the time we stayed, cereal, yoghurt and fresh fruit with milk and juices laid out... More

We Enjoyed our 2 night stay at The Glenartney, The owners are helpful and the staff very friendly, there is a coffee/tea station you can use anytime, and cake left to have in the afternoon which is a lovely touch. our room was small but this was made clear on booking and it suited us fine, the view was absolutely... We were lucky enough to reserve the pair of rooms at the top of the house--two bedrooms and an enormous bath in between. As warned, the rooms were up a steep stairs, but they were lovely. Our little dog was welcomed too with treats. Every member of the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious!... More
