My wife and I were walking the Arran Coastal Way and our accommodation had been arranged for us. Carrick Lodge made a very welcome start to our week. We were met by Faith who was a very pleasant, helpful host. The house is clean and comfortable and our downstairs room was quite large and comfy. The beds were excellent and... More

We stayed in the Carrick Lodge guest house for 1 night for a short trip to Arran. The guest house is nicely situated, only a few hundred metres from the centre of Brodick and is an easy (slightly uphill) 5 minute walk from the ferry terminal. We arrived around lunchtime and were pleasantly surprised to get straight into to the... More

From the initial booking in enquiries to saying our farewells after a 3 night stay it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay and experience. Faith was the perfect host and answered all our pre arrival queries about cycle storage. The actual building was full of character and our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and obviously well maintained. It was in a... More

It is not easy to find but we'll worth it. Turn left out the ferry terminal and it is a 100 yards up on the left. Great couple that greeted us. We dropped our luggage of as we set up goat fell. The lady in the hotel said she had a bad experience. We wish we had listened to her.... More

After cycling around Arran, we were looking forward to a well deserved shower and relaxation and we were not disappointed with Carrick Lodge. Faith was fantastic, friendly, very accommodating and her B&B is idyllic. The place is beautiful, clean, fresh and has stunning views. We went out and got something to eat then relaxed in the allocated lounge which was... More

Faith was absolutely delightful to have as a host. Very friendly and willing to help in any way she can. The rooms are quite a comfortable size and the bathrooms excellent. Breakfasts include everything and more that you would expect from a Scottish B&B. The only reason that I gave a 4 to facilities is that the bed in our... More

I loved staying here. The room was so cosy, bed was so comfortable, facilities clean and the host is lovely. Thank you Faith for looking after me and also for your amazing breakfast. I felt at home here, so nice especially since I was feeling a bit home sick. I dont have a single bad thing to say about Carrick... More

Faith's B&B is so good that even the wild weather couldn't spoil my w/e on Arran!! She's a lovely host, really personable and easy going, nothing's any bother for her...and her brekkie kippers are insane! Rally handy location, cosy room, hot shower, nice guest lounge to chill in, and a bargain. Really nothing missing from this place, it ticked all... More

This was our first stop on our island hopping trip and what a lovely start. The room was well presented with all we needed, a great shower in the en-suite plus there is a guest lounge to relax in with views towards the sea. Faith the owner was very helpful with good advise on places to eat out and where... More
