Delightfully clean and comfortable guesthouse with a charming hostess, Helen, nothing was too much trouble and she provides an excellent breakfast. We were travelling in a cycling party of 17 and all were very happy with the accommodation and service. Outstanding position, highly recommended.

Lovely, homely, welcoming hotel. Helen, the owner is so friendly. Rooms spotless (they even had hot water bottles in the wardrobe in case it got cold). Breakfasts gorgeous, so much choice. 5 min walk from ferry, ideal.

My husband and I have just returned from a motorcycle tour of Arran and the Mull of Kintyre. We stayed two nights at Dunvegan House in Brodick, which is a real find and Helen, the owner, could not have been more welcoming or hospitable. Breakfast was lovely with stunning views from the dining room and, it's very close to the... More

My friend and I spent 3 nights here this week. We had a comfortable twin room on ground floor with lovely views. Sadly the weather let us down. The breakfast was excellent with a great selection of freshly cooked food. Helen was charming and even ran us up to the castle and came back for us!! What more could you... More

We arrived by ferry to find the guest house was one minute drive. The views were spectacular, the guest house was very welcoming, spotless clean and the breakfast was tremendous . We travelled round the island, visited the distillery which was very interesting and watched the wild dear roam freely.

Positives: Very clean, warm, comfortable, we had 3 rooms on the ground floor with use of a lounge. Cooked breakfasts and a good range of products, juices, fruits etc. Attentive staff, rooms cleaned daily. Lovely view over the sea shore, shops and banks nearby. Negatives: None, except that at £85 per night double, the room price was high even for... More

Stayed here four two nights with family, and had a great time. The location is great to act as a base for exploring Arran, and the accommodation is both comfortable and homely. The hosts were extremely helpful, going above and beyond, particularly when a member of our party was gluten intolerant. As has been mentioned, the Sea views are stunning,... More
