Regular visitor to this area visiting family and was the first time I was staying in a B and B. I found the Dunclutha Guest House and looked forward to my stay in the Victorian house which I had often seen when I lived in the area many years ago. Was greeted with a friendly welcome by Julie in the... More

I booked this at short notice as I was visiting relatives so was very pleased to find this (via Trip Advisor). I arrived later than planned due to late arrival of flight but Julie was very welcoming and nothing was any trouble. I stayed in the Blue room at the front of the house which looked onto the road and... More

We stayed here for one night as part of a walking holiday. I only wished we had an excuse to stay longer! From the minute we walked through the front door Julie made us welcome to what is a beautiful home. Room was spacious and well decorated. The little touches like the homemade shortbread, and of course the hot tub... More

I've stayed at Dunclutha on several occasions, when visiting my family. Julie and Richard, Hind, who I believe bought the guesthouse about 3 or 4 years ago, have worked hard to create a homely and welcoming environment. Julie's breakfasts are generous and very well cooked. The bedrooms are cosy and warm. The gardens, to which guests have full access, are... More

Linda could not have been more friendly and welcoming. The room was spotless and comfy and had everything we needed. The breakfast was first class and we would have no hesitation in recommending Dunclatha as a great place to stay.Linda makes a mean Gin & Tonic cake.

We broke our trip South with a one night stay in Fife. Hosts moved their private car to keep our bike secure and out of sight, soaking bike gear was hung out in the sun to dry and we were invited to join them for a drink in the garden in the sunshine.
