Oh man, I love this place! With only three rooms you feel as though you're visiting old friends. Two of the rooms are within a suite and share a common bathroom, the other is set down the hall. There is a separate entrance for the guests if you don't want to enter via the bar and restaurant, but who would!?!...

Four of us stayed here for Halloween (not because it was Halloween, it just happened to be that night) and were delighted with the rooms, service and breakfast. The bar is a local for some regulars who are happy to engage in conversation with outlanders, and is overseen by a charming young lady called Nicole. We moved on the following...

Not many places to get a bed for the night in this twee small town, overpriced, too. I arrived in the area, needing a bed for one night, & at £55 this was the cheapest. Small things are sometimes telling, & the over-salted, watery leek & potato defied its name & the main veggie option was a heavily over-spiced Penne...

Having been back in Falkland in April, I decided to return in September. The Bruce is a very welcoming Hotel and excellent value for money. Again I had a fantastic night with my old friends from 40 odd years ago. The room was lovely, the staff fantastic and the breakfast magnificent. I will definitely be back but worry that my...

A warm welcome and a comfortable room for a good sleep. Good value for money and the pub's ideal for a beer. Easy parking outside and there's not much you can't walk to from here. Breakfast was great..

I picked The Bruce Inn because it is right in Falkland and on the Sustrans National Cycle Network route. It is also right across from Falkland Palace. They provided a secure place in their shed to store my bicycle. The rooms are above a pub with shared bathroom. The room was very spacious and had a wash Basin. The bed...

We popped in for lunch after a morning visit to Falkland Palace and were shown immediately to a table. The menu was brought to us and drinks were ordered. The first beer was a tad sour and this was taken away and a different beer delivered with apologies and we were told that the barrel of the first beer had...
