We enjoyed a 4 night stay at Hazelton Guest House. David and Karen are a cheerful, genuine couple who help each guest feel welcome and comfortable. They provide helpful information; terrific restaurant choices in the East Neuk area, and sightseeing suggestions. My husband and I were on a 12 day golf trip to Scotland. We chose the quaint town of... More

Lovely rooms and a really good breakfast and their homemade marmalade was excellent. Friendly owners. Good location in the center of the town (the tower chimes begin at 7 so be prepared!) Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at Hazelton Guest House. Our large room overlooked the medieval town hall and was very comfortably furnished with a king-size bed and good chairs for reading. The tea/coffee tray also included delicious home-made shortbread. David and Karen were gracious hosts and very helpful with suggestions on best sights to see. Breakfasts, including "the full Scottish,"... More

Absolutely loved our 2 night stay at The Hazelton Guest House. We had a beautiful room on the first floor, very spacious, comfy bed and a nice en suite. We got a warm welcome from David when we arrived and he was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Beautiful breakfast on both days with plenty of choice from continental... More

Friends recommended this wonderful guest house . We had a lovely spacious double room on second floor . The room was spotless, has everything you could possibly require. Charming, friendly owner who was on hand, fabulous cooked breakfast, great for golfers. We only stayed one night but I would love to stay longer as felt quite at home. A very... More

Beautiful Guesthouse in a historic old townhouse. We had the superior room on the 2nd floor which is big, very nice and has beautiful views over the sea to the Isle of May. We had planned a trip to the Isle of May on our second day and needed to leave early. We could have done without breakfast, but we... More

Last weekend 6 of my family stayed at the Hazelton and we were made most welcome by David and Karen despite having a senior moment and calling Karen Hazel! It is a beautiful clean comfortable hotel and the Scottish breakfasts are excellent. Both Karen and David made is feel most welcome despite George's little mishap and we will definitely return.... We have just stayed a weekend at the Hazelton. We had a great time , the owners David and Karen, were really friendly, and helpful, not to mention Hazel , who actually looked a lot like Karen. The guest house is very clean, nice rooms , with everything you would need , even the carpets look comfortable. The Scottish breakfast... More

We have stayed at the Hazelton for a few years now, but this is the first time for a week. Karen and David are wonderful hosts, and the rooms are a delight, spotless, with character. Seven mornings of Karen's (and David's) wonderful breakfasts, using only local produce, set us up for some breathtaking coastal walks. We have stayed in many... More

Made to feel most welcome and the breakfast was without doubt superb. Indeed one of the best ! Our room was very small and the shower cubicle is beginning to look its age. Avoid room 1. Bed and bedding very good indeed. We would willingly return if in the area
