Very clean, comfortable room. Anne, who runs the guesthouse is very helpful and friendly. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was lovely - lots of choice and freshly prepared. Would definitely recommend. Also - almost forgot to mention-free WiFi!

We have just returned from probably our 5th stay at Crichton House with Ann and Roger, which was again a wonderful holiday. Ann greets you like one of the family and always makes your stay so enjoyable you don't want to leave! We have stayed in many B&B's throughout Scotland but this one is by far our favourite and we... Anne is absolutely delightful and served what became my favorite breakfast during our entire 15 day tour through the UK - smoked haddock with a poached egg and potato scone. Great location for visiting the Fife Coast. Plenty to do from here - we made a couple of trips to St. Andrews, drove along the coastal route, drove into Edinburgh,... More

The secret of a very good B&B is when the guests keep coming back for more. The rooms were spotless and all mod cons provided. Anne always greets you like a old friend who has come to visit her, she is so welcoming to everybody. We have been here before and will be back again. Jim & Margaret. Shotts.

A few minutes from Anstruther's pier, with bus stops almost at its door, this B&B is a jewel in this small fisherman town. I felt like in a hotel, but just smaller. I also had the luck to get room 1, from which I could see the sea. The landlady was always open to advice me about buses, timetables and... More

A recent two night stay was one of the best B&B experiences we have had. Aside from the immaculate accommodations, our host, Ann was a gem. This little spitfire made sure everything was 100%: the room, the delicious breakfast and especially the travel advice and information. She was truly delightful. The B&B is located in the heart of Anstruther just... More

What a fabulous place, spotlessly clean, lovely room, and a very warm welcome from the owner Anne. We were over visiting friends for the night, room was nice and warm, the East neuk can be a bit chilly in January and when we arrived back after our evening out Anne had put a hot water bottle in each of our beds, such... My Mother, Sister and I stayed here from October 16th-October 18th and it was the most WONDERFUL experience. The rooms were IMMACULATE. Literally spotless and extremely comfortable and fresh. Anne was INCREDIBLE! We had to leave at 4am in order to get to the airport and knowing we would miss breakfast she packed us each a lunch and woke up... More

Brilliant guest house in Anstruther and easy walking distance to nearby Pittenweem. Both very picturesque small fishing villages in a delightful area of east Scotland . Can recommend a stay here with excellent facilities and outstanding breakfast menu !
