I have been coming to Anstruther for more years than I care to remember. It us a cracking wee town. Lovely views and a busy wee place in the summer. The Waterfront is my go to place for food. You have to try the fish and chips. But also great Mussels and dressed crap. Plenty for the meat eater as... More

Wonderful! Perfect position in a beautiful town and harbour, tidy and cosy rooms, helpful and kind people and a very special restaurant!!! Don't miss their suggestions and don't forget the sticky toffee pudding! I look forward to going back again. Very relaxing.

We arrived here to stay for 2 nights. The staff were really pleasant on arrival. We were shown to our room which was set in a courtyard (there are no harbour views). We stayed in room 10 which is beside the front door. The room definitely wasn't worth £100 a night. The hairdryer didn't work, the shower dial is broken... More

Hotel checkin is in the restaurant. Staff, especially Gregg, was very friendly. Gregg especially helpful. The room was large enough, very clean, and the towels were sumptuous, particularly the bath sheets, and the bathroom was large. Toiletries were provided. Even had a clock radio. The large double was super wide, more than an American king size, but mattress was very... More

Having just read some other reviews I'm not sure we stayed in the same place Yes, there is a bit of a walk to the building from the restaurant where you check in, but it's not that bad Our room was lovely, very modern and obviously recently decorated. The toiletries were fine, and the towels nice The only real problem... More

Well priced, very clean, great location, lovely staff, brilliant breakfast. Came here with a few friends for our 50ths. Pleased with accommodation and would definitely return. Sat outside with a glass of wine in front of the harbour. Perfect. Will return.

we stayed for a few day. it is extremely difficult to get parked even to unload the car and park up thereafter. there is no reception, you check in at the restaurant. the room was ok but nothing special. the rooms are in a separate building and approached via a very unattractive covered walkway. attention needs to given to this... Let me start with the big positive. The food. Service. Prices in the waterfront restaurant are fabulous. From evening dinner to breakfast what beautiful food and great friendly efficient staff. Every part of our meals were faultless. Not something I say often. However, It is advertised as a hotel. On arrival we were taken outside the restaurant into a back... More
