Spindrift is a superb place to stay: excellent accommodation, first class catering (choice at breakfast is amazing, very helpful and caring owners and staff. What more can we say? We stayed for 9 nights and wished we could have stayed longer!

Three of us, attending a motorbike rally based in Anstruther, stayed here for 4 nights. Yes, it's very good, and you can see why they won all the certificates hanging on the wall. The place is spotlessly clean and maintained in excellent order. The proprietors are lovely people and you get the impression nothing is too much trouble. Breakfasts are... More

I visited Spindrift in mid May. The location is ideal for exploring the Neuk of Fife, being located on the road between Anstruther and Pitenweem, and only a 5 minute walk from the coastal pathbetween the 2 villages. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and helpful, offering recommendations on local places worth visiting (which were supplemented by some useful information for... More

Very nice B&B. Ken and Christine are fantastic hosts. Breakfasts are full Scottish style and delicious. Christine will also make you dinner if you arrange it in advance. Very convenient to many famous golf courses, including St. Andrews, Kingsbarnes, Crail, etc. Third floor rooms are something of a climb to get to (when you're lugging baggage) but the rooms are... I stayed at the Spindrift for six nights with two friends on the second leg of our golf trip to Scotland. Christine and Ken were extremely accommodating. For example, when we arrived late in the evening exhausted after several days of 36 holes a day we didn't have enough energy to go out to eat, so Christine set up the... More

We stayed here for a week and we were very impressed with the sheer professionalism with which this little gem of a hotel is run. The owners were extremely accommodating, the rooms were comfortable and well-appointed and the food was very good and reasonably-priced. Ken deserves a special mention for his enthusiasm in the kitchen. It is refreshing to stay... More

We would consider the "Spindrift" Guest House to be one of the most friendly and professionally managed accommodation we have ever stayed in ! On entry, in the large reception hall, one is given a warm welcome by the proprietors, Ken and Christine. Shown the layout of the dining room with sparkling white linen table covers. Into the relaxing lounge... More

We stayed here while playing golf in nearby St. Andrews (about 10 miles away). The room was clean and very modern, and the food was some of the best we had on our vacation. The owners made us feel very comfortable and it is obvious that they have been doing this a long time.

We stayed here as part of two small group tours in August, 2011. The first was three nights for an Edinburgh Tattoo experience. There had been a mix up in our arrival date so we couldn't join the group in Edinburgh. Ken and Christine contacted us via email explaining that it was complicated and time consuming to get to Anstruther... More

Stayed a few times now on business. Always a warm welcome. Lovely house and spotlessly clean. Superb breakfast. Comfy rooms, attention to detail excellent. Bathrooms excellent, and a proper shower.... ! Good location, and ideal for discovering the area. Good choice of local hostelries ranging from Chippies to Fine dining (all v good) Recommended.
