The Spindrift is nicely located on the Coastal Tourist Road of Fife very near (SW) St. Andrews. It is beautifully laid out with very light and comfortable rooms. As noted elsewhere, Ken and Christine are model Scottish hosts. Rooms are very comfortable and well-laid out. The lounge is bright and there is an honesty bar with more than 25 single...

We were looking for a place to stay near to St. Andrews and came across this charming B&B. Christine was so lovely and welcoming. Our room was very comfortable and we had a large and delicious breakfast the next morning! It was an easy walk into town, as wanted to visit the famous Anstruther Fish & Chips. I would definitely...

We really enjoyed our stay here. Christine and Ken are great hosts, the rooms are very comfortable and the breakfasts are great! Very close to the golf course if that's the kind of thing you like. A lot of fun and we'll be back.

Stayed here on a long weekend to St Andrews golfing. The B&B is located about 10 min max from the centre of town and I would recommend looking at it if your are looking for something in the area. Our arrival was delayed and was out of the booking in time but this was not a bother to the owner....

Christine gave us the warmest of greetings as she welcomed us into her beautiful home, and showed us around her deceptively large Victorian house. Her staff offered friendly and efficient service at breakfast, The range and quality of food was excellent. Our room was luxurious, the Jacuzzi enjoyable. The guests' lounge was opulent and included a well-stocked bar. The house...

We stayed at The Spindrift to attend a wedding in Anstruther. Christine greeted us all (unbeknown to us quite a few of the wedding party were staying here) and we realised we had made an excellent choice - bedroom very clean and warm with lovely touches such as fresh coffee, shortbread and locally produced chocolates. The breakfast was delicious with...

A welcome port on a blustery day in February, our every need was catered for from the basics - a comfortable ensuite room and tasty home cooked breakfast; to the little extras - the well stocked honesty bar in the residents lounge, the cafetiere, coffee and shortbread in the room. Highly recommended!

My son and I have been staying at The Spindrift almost once a month for the last few years. We treat it like our second home! Ken and Christine are fabulous, friendly hosts and have made us feel very welcome over the years. The guest rooms are spotlessly clean, superbly appointed and very comfortable. The wifi throughout the guest house...
