As a family of 3, we stayed at the Guest House for the New Years Celebration in Edinburgh, when we arrived the owner and his family was very nice and extremely welcoming, the owner had interesting stories to be told at breakfast times and throughout the day, the view from the rooms was really good and the location of the...

Had a great time! The host Robert was very welcoming and helpful when it came to giving us directions and suggestions on where to go in Musselburgh. The room was very clean, beds were really comfy and had a beautiful view of the race course. Breakfast was delicious!! Full English (or Scottish) and continental. So much to choose from, was...

It is situated opposite Edinburgh Race Course so as we found when there is racing on you cannot park anywhere near this guest house until about 7pm.. We found the room to be very small and the en-suite was not very big. The toilet would only flush occasionally and the wait to flush again meant a wait of about 6...

Hello and thank you for the opportunity to respond to your comments. Parking is very busy on race days, this is an issue out of my control as it clearly states on the site that we only have on street parking and no private parking. The toilet you raised as an issue with us when you were here and has...

My friend & I completed the second half of The John Muir Way last week (Coast to Coast walk across Scotland between Helensburgh & Dunbar) and this involved 4-days walking between Falkirk and Dunbar & 3-overnight stays. For this 100mile section, we decided to start in Dunbar and finish in Falkirk rather than the more conventional west to east route,...

Hello and thank you for given us the opportunity to reply to your comments. When the booking was made through myself I did in fact put the booking in the diary for 2 nights by error, however this would not have affected your stay, at the time of booking I did advise that this twin bedded room that we normally...

Just what you want when away from home, to be looked after by excellent, but not over fussy Hosts. We stayed for a 2 nights. The room had lovely period features, and was beautiful and clean, with a breakfast to get you started for the day. The Guest House overlooks Musselburgh Racecourse and one of the oldest, if not the...

I just have to say I arrived her 10pm late at night after travelling for 5 hours to find my room had been booked for by my manager for the 31st August! Absolutely stranded with no room at the Inn! This amazing lady saved me and found me somewhere local so for that alone I would give her 100% customer...
