We were very kindly upgraded to a suite which was a lovely surprise. The food was excellent and the staff so helpful and friendly. Located in a lovely village and close to my parents (a mile away) this couldn't have suited us better. Definitely staying again

Had a lovely meal on Mon 22 August , with my partner in the LEWIS RESTAURANT A place where you can relax and indulge yourself. Sitting under the thatch in a 400 year old building . sipping on a pint of Guinnesss was something to savour in deed To relax and unwind in the most historic part of the Inn... More

Booked a one night romantic break for my wife. Beautiful bar, resturant and rooms. Sitting outside in the sun with a drink watching the sun go down. Food was amazing. Wish the wine list was more extensive. Great staff, wish we had stayed another night!

I recently visited The Old Inn for an overnight stay with my 90 year old mother and five sisters as a little treat for her after a recent illness. When we arrived at reception my mother asked where the lift was located. The receptionist told her rather haughtily that there was no lift as the Inn was a listed building.... More

I saw a good deal on Groupon and decided to take my Mum away for a couple of nights. The deal was for a deluxe twin room, with afternoon tea and dinner, breakfast was included. The room was nice, I wouldn't have called it deluxe,as the bathroom was a disappointment and needed updated. I hate a shower in a bath... More

Great atmospheric hotel. Super for weddings but also as a base for touring North Down. Convenient to Belfast and Bangor. The dining room is great all day with a variety of meal suggestions. The only thing missing is a ghost! Mind you the car park is a bit tight!

Was at a family wedding reception here in July and service was very poor - my sis-in-law had pepper sauce spilled down her dress and they didn't seem that bothered that they had ruined her dress even though she has since emailed them and food was slow and not great - they even missed the "top" tables for tea/coffee and... Stopped off for a late afternoon meal with family. The Inn is allegedly the oldest in Ireland, built in the 1600's, but it is in great condition and has been modernised over the years but without losing any of its old world charm. Our meal was taken off the 'early bird' menu which was great value for a main course... More

My wife and I stayed for one night and it was fantastic - helpful and friendly staff with clean and comfortable rooms. Food in the restaurant was superb so I would highly recommend to anyone. We had the additional pleasure of a free room upgrade which was a very pleasant surprise!

Had a lovely evening with my friends at the Old Inn for dinner. Had early bird fish and chips with glass of wine and then lovely dessert. Great value and excellent service. Never disappoints. Lovely atmosphere and cosy surroundings. Will see you again soon.
