Too expensive for lunch. Goat's cheese tartlet with a few green leaves and tomato and polenta £10.95 and chicken Maryland £13.95 . Tourist prices ! Tartlet was tasteless and not worth the money. Only good thing was the service and the wine. Will not be back

Called here last week after a beautiful drive along the coast. This is a great hotel full of real character. We were greeted on arrival by a very friendly waitress and taken to our table straight away. My husband had the soup of the day for starters - celeriac with homemade wheaten bread. It was full of flavour. I had... More

Had lunch at Londonderry Arms. Our waitress was very friendly and informative. The soup of the day was delicious! Beautiful old building in a great location. Well worth a stop in Carnlough for a meal or an overnight stay.

Nothing to shout out about. A good run of the mill 3* hotel. Hotel has a good position to the small harbour just opposite which lead to a little stroll before otherwise the substantial evening meal would have been too much. Personally we prefer quality to quantity!

Our tour operator had arranged for us to have tea and scones at this hotel on our way to the Giants Causeway. We were a large group and this hotel could easily handle our 6 busses of 35 each. We had a scone and tea or coffee The town of Carnlough was very picturesque. Beautiful harbor. Worth the stop

This hotel has a lot of charm, especially in the common areas. It's like stepping back in time. The room I was in had some typical European quirks: separate hot and cold water taps, a high step tub, and no AC. It turns out the weather was very warm and sticky during my stay. There was no hairdryer in the... More

I really wanted to LOVE this place, believe me. Very spacious rooms, hearty breakfast and for the most part, really lovely, hospitable staff. Such a beautiful building! However, some of the younger male staff members just don`t seem to have been given adequate training, resulting in very slack service at The Coach Room where we had dinner....I found the service... Last night a group of us had the pleasure of having fun, learning some history, dining and staying over (except me!!) at The Londonderry Arms. Our host Denise was excellent and really made us feel welcome. The staff were amazing and made us all feel at home. The style of hotel is definitely "Ye Olde" style with the wooden beams,... More

A visit to Carnlough would not be complete without a visit to The Londonderry Arms. It takes me back to childhood holidays in Ireland as it has retained its old world charm. This visit was one of the best as the menu has been extended. Eating there on a busy Saturday evening with four others, we were served in no... More
