Stayed here with friends, deciding to go for something a little different as we would usually stay at hotels in Belfast City Centre. We were not disappointed! First impressions were great, the hotel seemed clean and with a nice ambience, and we were then greeted by the receptionist as we approached, having already anticipated we were checking in. Rooms were... More

Great place to eat, great choice of mains & deserts. Very pleasant staff with reasonable speed of service. No hint of any microwave preparation. Light airy dining room. Right on the coast Only negative is no direct disabled access.

This was our second visit to Ballygalley Castle and it had a lot to live up to after an excellent first time. It not only lived up to but exceeded our already high expectations. The staff are polite, helpful and very efficient. Our room had a sea view and was really lovely, spacious and comfortable. Great bathroom, with a bath... More

Stayed here one night for a 60th wedding anniversary. Plus point is that the room was lovely with a very comfy bed, perhaps though as others have stated, the black grout in shower could be sorted! As for the meal, wait time wine and then food, well we lost count the times we had to get up and see where... More

Was here for a birthday dinner 06 /08/15 , found the service very poor and the seating in the main restaurant stifling but at the same time canteen like . there is something not quite right about the ambiance of the room . The meal was below average and very expensive ( above Belfast prices) everything was extra . And... More

Lovely room in the old tower part of the castle, let down slightly by the bathroom which could do with a bit of tlc. The meal in the restaurant was a mixed bag as the beef I had was beautiful but my wife's chicken was quite tasteless and the potatoes were inedible. The hotel had bags of character, lovely grounds... Beautiful hotel with lovely staff and with views to die for outside. We only came in to see the Game of thrones door and had a latte while my boyfriend had a pint. When the drinks came we were given free cakes! The girl who served us was polite and friendly. Will return again

I attended a wedding here on 20.08.16. The whole event was fantastic. Scott helped my friend and I when we arrived in torrential rain on Friday to set up the cake. The wedding on Saturday was faultless and the event was enjoyed by everybody.
