Stayed here with the extended family in May and had a great time. Lodges are well equipped and our one had reasonable privacy from other units. The hot tub was well maintained and despite my personal fears (as a hot tub owner) the chemicals and PH were balanced perfectly. Great location near to Swanage & Wareham. Loved it and will...

So pleased you enjoyed your stay and will pass your comments on to our "tubbers" who tend to the hot tubs twice a day rain or shine!

Our family of five spent the Christmas week at Burnbake in one of the executive lodges tucked away in the silence of a pretty wood. Its an ideal place for local walks across heathland and through woods, and is also a convenient base for trips to Corfe Castle, Studland, Swanage, Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, etc. Our well-designed modern lodge was...

Wifey found this little gem and booked it as a long weekend break. We seem to be getting quite good at lodge escapes in this area. The lodge was clean, modern and comfortable. It had all the amenities and facilities we would expect and was finished to a high standard making us feel quite at home. The Hut tub was...

We came to Burnbake as a last minute well deserved break. We were looking for something that offered comfy accommodation in a beautiful setting in Dorset. The lodges looked great and included a Hot Tub and Real Fire, which were enough to convince us it was the right place for our short holiday. Inside the lodge was very clean and...

We chose to stay in the Forest Lodges having seen the photos on the website. They appeared to be really stylish and obviously quite new. It was something of a treat, as this was for our Honeymoon. We arrived during the Monday evening and all was dark. We were given a warm welcome by two friendly ladies at Reception, who...

Even in November our stay at the lodges was excellent. They are well designed particularly the two- bedded ones. With stoves, hot tubs, good insulation and well fitted bathrooms they are great for families. The location is great for Studland beach, Corfe castle and Swanage and is surrounded by woods and healthland with roads, paths and tracks which are suitable...

We were so excited to be staying in a lodge with a hot tub and it even beat our expectations. The lodge has everything you could need - lots of luxury towels, separate towels for the amazing hot tub, slippers, a starter kit for the log burner, a welcome pack of bacon, eggs, bread....dishwasher tablets....they have thought of everything! All...

I'd not been to Dorset before so I took the opportunity to stay in one of the forest lodges with some of my family. The accomodation is of an excellent standard with a wide range of amenities available, easy access to attractions and quiet night's! Very highly commended. I would certainly come again.

Really good value accommodation, everything is to a very high standard and very peaceful. Good location - very remote - with the bonus of a 5 min drive to Corfe and a bit further for the coast. would recommend and already looking to re-book.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Burnbake comprises of 22 luxury forest lodges with hot tubs and camping pitches. Camping: The campsite is a very traditional family orientated campsite, an ethos we have strived for since opening in 1975. We are a turn up and pitch site for tents and campervans. I am afraid we are NOT able to take caravans. We have a wide selection of flat level pitches ranging from heavily shaded areas that are perfect for those hot sunny days to more open areas for those looking to make the most of the British sunshine. Facilities wise we have toilets and showers, a shop, small laundrette, small play area and a café open for peak times. We can cater for larger family groups on our events fields by prior arrangement. For pricing, bank holiday booking, and more information please see the campsite website. ... more   less
