Today menu price £1.70 charged £1.85. I did mention the price and was told they have been waiting new... More

I stayed here one night. Staff were very friendly. Close to shops and a five minute walk from the train station. Just minutes away from the bus stops which came in handy for my visits to Corfe Castle, Swanage, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. My only gripe is that there was no shower attachment on the bath taps so you're... More

Attending a concert in Wareham we went on line to find a place for supper. Anglebury House seemed to be within our budget so we booked by telephone. When we arrived the place was almost empty. The menu indicated that prices had gone up since the website was last updated. The food was only average: chicken was tough, and the... More

Years ago used to visit this restaurant. Had a good lunch. Varied menu to choose from. Summer lunch menu, specials board and usual menu. Only thing at 12.45 no roast of the day. But plenty of other choices. A good meal. The waiter seemed very young but he was very good and friendly and efficient. He did a good job.

The room was clean and nicely decorated with the facilities you would expect from a good hotel. The bed was comfortable but I was a little concerned about the position being over the main street in Wareham however, I need not have worried as there was little noise from the traffic and I slept well,The room had a good shower,... The rooms are spread around the upper floor. I had one overlooking the street, but the noise was not too bad even though it was a weekend. Breakfast was good and plenty of it, and they arranged for me to eat early as well. Room decor is dated (old photos/pics etc) , but kind of in keeping with the obvious... More

only stayed here because we arrived on a late ferry and didn't want to drive home, not impressed on entry, looked unkempt, room pleasant enough for 1 night but the sleep was awful, didn't find the beds particularly comfortable, and the shower room was pathetic, no way could you get dry in there, there is no room at all, as... Booked to stay at Anglebury House for two nights whilst visiting family in the area, wasn't disappointed it was very clean, staff couldn't do enough for us, & the breakfast was tasty. Only downside was the restaurant was closed on the Sunday night, and the menu looked amazing, will have to go back again and ensure we have an evening... More

Basic hotel. Bed comfy with quality bedding. Room a bit tired but ok or short stay. Staff friendly breakfast acceptable standard..... No real complaints. Parking can be a problem at rear due to restricted space and building works nearby. Possible parking in high street between 1800 and 1000 hrs.

“All the rooms are very individual because of the age of the building, however we were offered a choice of room depending on availabilty. The swimming pool is marked terrible because there isn't one, I clicked on it accidentally but it won't let me delete it. Trip advisor please note.”
