Booked to stay at Anglebury House for two nights whilst visiting family in the area, wasn't disappointed it was very clean, staff couldn't do enough for us, & the breakfast was tasty. Only downside was the restaurant was closed on the Sunday night, and the menu looked amazing, will have to go back again and ensure we have an evening... More

Basic hotel. Bed comfy with quality bedding. Room a bit tired but ok or short stay. Staff friendly breakfast acceptable standard..... No real complaints. Parking can be a problem at rear due to restricted space and building works nearby. Possible parking in high street between 1800 and 1000 hrs.

I spent 3 nights here for a work trip in July. Anglebury house has a quirky charm to the place. I stayed in one of the family rooms, which has a small bathroom (shower) that comes with toiletries and towels. The room has a small TV, tea/coffee making facilities and comfortable beds. Due to the age of the building it... More

We wanted a central, no fuss location and The Anglebury House provided just that. Right in the middle of town. A walk down the high street revealed that there was no better menu on offer so we chose to eat in house and were rewarded with a very satisfying meal. Hake Fillet for my wife and Skate wing for myself,... More

Comfortable, clean little B&B , with close proximity to main shopping area in Wareham. Great little restaurant / cafe, very large portions but great value. Lots to do in the surrounding area, between walking, cycling and general sightseeing on the Jurassic coast. Close to swanage and some great walking. Parking supplied as well.

We stayed one night. Bedroom/bathroom clean but hotel could do with a complete makeover. Breakfast was good. The parking is difficult and can only be accessed by going out of the front of the building and down a side street.

This is a really great place. I have now stayed here 3 time in the last 5 months. It's excellent value for money, rooms are fine --nice beds, linen etc, and breakfasts are lovely. Please ignore the somewhat mean-minded (in my view) comments about this establishment! It is a very old building, but all the more interesting for that. It... More
