This pub is very popular with walkers and sightseers. When the weather is warm and you want to sit out in the garden there are lovely views over to Old Harry Rocks and the Isle of Wight on a clear day. When we went at the beginning of February the food was good and very reasonably priced and we were...

Great place to finish a walk We did not eat there although there was a good selection of food on offer. Pub had roaring fire and in addition to a range of local beers tea, coffee and hot chocolate was available. Staff were friendly and helpful Dog friendly

Great service, beer, atmosphere and view but the food is consistently bland and pricy. We've been here a couple of times and succumbed to the menu - but it doesn't live up to expectations. I'd challenge anyone to differentiate their trio of sausages which were murdered by being deep fat fried, probably with their chips. A real shame when this...

Stopped off for a drink and bite after a walk. Should probably have walked on. We shared a cheese baguette and a bowl of chips. For £7.25 this was a rather overpriced yet very average cheese baguette, and £3.50 for very bland frozen chips. It was a refuel and we won't be returning for an evening meal this week. Sticky...

Had a great lunch here today for my daughters 21st. Was incredibly busy considering it was just after new year. Food was excellent and good value for money. Service was ok. Beautiful location, shame about having to pay NT parking prices! Very convenient for a trip to the beach or a longer stroll up Old Harry. We will definitely return....

We just popped in to get out of the wet. It was warm, cosy and offering some the best UK beer brewed here! What a find! And you can stay here too... very tempting on another occasion. Great menu too and the food looked good although this time we did not eat.

My husband and I used to come here during the summer months whenever we were in the area to enjoy a drink in their beer garden with stunning views over the sea. This Christmas we were staying nearby with family so decided to visit for lunch on Christmas Eve. Buzzing and friendly, the food was great pub grub and a...

Arrived in the early afternoon to find all tables occupied by empty glasses and plates, in turn we had to clean them ourselves and provided our own napkins with no assistance from the many waiters around. After sorting out our order and table we waited for our meal. As two parties occupied our table we expected our meal to arrive...
