Went to smugglers inn last night with a friend to check out for having a meal later.ordered coffees which were very expensive!. Told to come back to collect them - said she was too busy to bring them to the table - despite place being virtually empty! Wouldn't recommend- service very poor!

Great location but very very poor quality food. Dorset has some gorgeous places to eat with stubbing food, but this isn’t one, yet they charge the same prices. Complained about my meal and the staff ignored me 3 times. Spoke with who I assume was the manager (he had captain on his back , how very self involved) and he was rude, very rude. There is no reason to go here. Go somewhere tastier and have a better time.

We was recommended to go to the smugglers inn for food, We booked a table just in case and I’m glad we did the place was very busy. The food was very nice and the staff were friendly, I would recommend this place. If you go in the evening you can walk to the top of the hill where you park your car and watch the sun go down.

I last visited Weymouth quite a few years ago, and when we decided to go this year, i wanted to introduce my wife and sons to the Smugglers. I was delighted to find that it is as good as ever, I had the H&W Burger, my wife a Chicken Burger and my son a plate of chips. We had badger beer, cider and apple juice to drink. All food was piping hot an delicious (i would like a bucket of the garlic mayo!) and well presented we sat outside because it was a lovely evening and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The views over the bay were fantastic and the only pity was the tide was in so we couldnt go down on to the beach. We are coming back down next year, and look forward to coming back to the Smugglers again!

Visited smugglers inn twice, Friday and Saturday evening. On both occasions I found the bar staff were attentive, friendly and efficient. On Saturday evening we were fortunate to have dinner and again the service by the staff in particular, Katie was outstanding who provided a service with a positive smile and very attentive to our needs but also other customers eating in our section. Food as always was excellent and reasonably priced. Can't fault this inn.
