We had a meal there, not knowing what to expect as we were here on holiday. They serve food all day every day which is amazing when you have little ones to feed. Before 5 pm is recommended for families as it gets really busy around 6 o'clock. The menu is well designed to cope with huge numbers and there... More

Cracking looking pub inside and out on the top of the cliff overlooking the dorset coast. Despite being very busy the staff were accommodating and found us a table within 15 minutes. although there wasn't a great deal to offer our vegetarian daughter the staff went out of their way to cook some pasta with cheese which was fantastic. The... More

A lovely pub, great location, excellent beers from the badger brewery but unfortunately the food and service were a disappointment. We booked a table for 4 adults and 3 children; after being seated we waited 30 minutes for someone to take our drink & food order. When the food finally arrived the Thai fish cakes were terrible, like they were... More

We were staying in the campsite up the road so visited this place for lunch which was a real treat. Love the outside space on a nice day and inside is nice too with a big fireplace. Food was lovely and reasonably priced. Will be sure to go again next time!

Despite being really busy on a hot summers evening, the staff were friendly and accommodating. I was advised before ordering of a 40 minute wait and I was not surprised given the popularity of the place. The food duly arrived was very good for pub grub. The steak and tanglefoot pie was delicious - we ordered the small portion and... More

Staff were generally reluctant to serve. No clarity about what was, and wasn't available on the menu. Food brought at different times. Small portions. Taking advantage of a beautiful location, but there are plenty other beautiful places nearby.

We rang the Smugglers earlier in the day to ask if we could book a table for food - there were 10 adults and 10 children in our group, so we wanted to make sure there would be room and that we would be able to get food after quite a long walk to the pub. As we had 10... More

We visited The Smugglers Inn last year, during a short break away. My husband and I decided that we would order something to eat and I went for the Award Winning Steak & Ale pie. All I can say is that this is the best pie I've ever tasted. It was that good, that we were going to make another... More

Beautiful location and extremely friendly and helpful staff. The food is comprised of fresh local produce at extremely reasonable prices. Would recommend a visit. They also serve lovely looking pastries and cakes as well as a selection of desserts from the menu.
