The room and bathroom were clean, the beds were comfortable and the shower worked great. Unfortunately the TV didn't work often which was annoying as after a long day out we wanted to kick back and watch the Olympics. The breakfast was ok...just a tip though, they don't like to cook the poached eggs properly. I had to send mine... More

My wife and I stayed here for one night has we have stayed here before, booked an fully accessible room and it was surprisingly good, nice big bathroom lovely shower. Very limited space between wall and beds. Lots of free parking plus bus stop 5 minute push up a steady incline. Staff were good to. Only downside was has we... More

Everything in room is old and the sheets and covers look like they haven't been cleaned for ages. There's no soap in the bathroom. Overall it looks like we went back in the 80's. Do not recommend. At least the gentlemen at the reception was nice :)

This was the only place which had vacancies and i had reservations about staying here due to all the negative reviews. We booked two rooms- a family room with 2 adults, 2 kids and a baby and then a 2nd twin room for me and my son. The check in was smooth and simple, the man on the door was... More

Stayed here for a weekend break, first night okay , breakfast following morning was swimming in oil and needed to mop up with serviette, the 2nd night couldn't get the tv to work and the following day as I was the only person I declined the full English and opted for scrambled egg served on white toast as they didn't have... Really stuck as Fish festival was on , it was the last room anywhere. Bloody £51 and no breakfast not happy. Horrible room , musky just like everyone had put , for the few pennies it cost they could of included a breakfast very disappointing and won't stop there again

i really should have read the reviews for this lodge. Bed linen not clean space around windows letting in sound from road if that was not bad enough fire alarm went off twice. cups in room dirty really needs a overhaul having the shower in the morning before we left was the only good point. afraid to have breakfast.

Very disappointed. Obviously the price reflects the location- just down the road from the Heights hotel and viewpoint over Chesil beach. This however, is not a hotel. There is no lounge or bar, and it feels more like a youth hostel which has been done up as a bed and breakfast. The first room we were shown was dark damp... More
