The hotel is perfectly situated for a short stay with easy access to Corfe Castle and the Steam Railway Station. The public areas of the hotel are well presented The staff providing pleasant and helpful service. The room was a little tired and the bathroom particularly small but it was adequate for a short stay and well cleaned. The food... More

This is a great hotel in the middle of Corfe. Core Castle is just a 5min walk. The hotel has got a great atmosphere. Staff is very helpful and full of service. We will definitely stay here again. The building is from 1590, and is restored in a beautiful way. Great breakfast with several choice

We were welcomed back to this hotel near the centre of Corfe Castle, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. It was easier booking here for the one night - especially as we made special arrangements to stay Sunday-Monday. We opted for their Elizabethan room - number one - as it is the biggest and has a fourposter bed. I... More

We stayed in Mortons during a midweek break to Corfe Castle. The hotel is ideally located in the centre of Corfe with shops, pubs, train station and the castle a stones throw away. The hotel is comfortable and friendly and would highly recommend the restaurant for a fancy meal. If you're used to boutique hotels you may feel the decor... More

Following a walk from campsite to corfe village and realising nothing was yet open, Mortons House welcomed us into their residents lounge whilst we enjoyed some morning tea. A warm reception from the front of house staff. Extremely clean bathrooms.

Spent the night before my wedding here with my best friend and had my children and some friends for a meal at the hotel. It was a really lovely evening. Food was excellent and service was prompt. The Reception staff were very helpful and friendly both on that evening and the day of the wedding ceremony which we had in... More

Had a great evening with a friend who's a member at Mortons. Definitely worth a visit, the cocktails are amazing & the ambience is chilled out. Would go again upon an invite 😊😉. It's good for networking, meeting new people & just a catchingup night out.

I had great expectations of this lovely old building. My bathroom seemed to be twenty years old. Cheap plastic bath with plastic shower curtain and inadequate shower head and water pressure. The grounds are disappointing particularly the main seating courtyard which is completely unloved and has a great view of the car park which could so easily be screened by... More

Only ate here, so can't vouch for the accommodation. However, If the food was anything to go by, I imagine it to be pretty perfect..... My wife and I stopped here post train ride from Swanage on wonderful summer's Sunday evening. We hadn't booked, but the staff were very friendly and said that it would not be a problem, as... More

Had the most lovely 2 night stay at mortons, it is a beautiful hotel , homely, charming. The staff are friendly, the food fantastic (many compliments to the chef, dinner was great) the wine not overpriced. Staff very accommodating as our son (working nearby) joined us for breakfast and dinner and we just added him to the bill - not... More
