Lovely location, excellent food and very helpful staff but very overpriced in terms of accommodation. The room was dated in line with the age of the property. Comfortable bed by the shower was awful. You had to move around to get wet under it and difficult to get a steady temperature. Complained but all I had was a shrug of... More

A wonderful hotel steeped in character. Excellent food - the cream teas are to die for! Superb friendly and efficient staff. Spotlessly clean throughout. It's location is spot on and very convenient for touring the area. It is within view of Corfe Castle.

Excellent atmosphere, food and very friendly couldn't rate it higher. I travel a lot with work and rate this as one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. Beautiful village (only spoilt by the racist undertones of the golliwog shop also displaying a one sided message in the window about sharia law) shame such a wonderful place has such a... More

Spent two nights at the hotel, we had a lovely stay, the hotel staff were very friendly and the place has a lot of charm in keeping with the village. Our evening meal was fantastic and the dining room very comfortable. A lovely two days - thank you

Corfe Castle is a stunning place because of the imposing castle ruins overlooking the village and hotel. The town including the hotel are built from the same local stone to give the village a medieval feel. It would be a cracking place to be on a dark and stormy night! The Hotel was originally a manor and has been extended... More

We decided to drive to Dorset on Wednesday with no plans and drove past this hotel on the way to Swanage where I rang to enquire if they had a room for 1 night&happily they did. All booked efficiently on the phone. We arrived to book in and had been given room no.15, a room at the back of the... More

We choose the Morton House Hotel for a special family occasion having read some decent reviews for the hotel and restaurant. We weren't disappointed, £24.50 for a 3 course lunch with coffee. The food was fantastic! Amazing roast beef, homemade desserts all a very high standard including the children's food. The service was also excellent and paced right. We all... More

We held a party for about 24 people in early July to celebrate my father's 80th party, and the hotel designed a buffet menu that was ideal for the occasion. On the day, the food was very delicious, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the day went perfectly. I highly recommend this as a venue for such an... More

Cream Tea here on a visit to Corfe/Dorset, looks great from the kerbside and the car park was good for those with nice cars who don't want on street parking and the risks of being too far away from their pride and joy. They don't take dogs in the Hotel, so that was us relegated to the outside on this... More

Extremely well located for visiting Corfe Castle and the Steam Railway. We also visited Monkey World (brilliant day out) and had no issues with parking on returning to the hotel. The room was clean and functional, however the shower pressure was very weak. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was good; selection of juices, cereals, toast, tea/coffee and... More
