Had a really nice weekend in Corfe staying at Alford House. Great setup with a separate lounge for B&B guests. Nice room plush new carpets. Very good shower and lovely breakfast. Very welcoming and friendly easy to park and handy for everything in the village. Its right on the main road but you don't notice the traffic.

Only stayed 1 night in this B&B, very comfy, warm, facilities good, easily found with easy parking. Bed was very comfy, bathroom had full facilities, soaps and towels provided. Only 1 niggle was that the room we had faced onto the street, which, until the last person had driven home after closing time was a touch noisy, but it did... More

Excellent hostess who went out of her way to accommodate our needs (and extra guest). Food was excellent, rooms spotless (and bedding and towels smelt lovely). Obviously used to walkers as newspapers at the ready to stuff our wet boots when we came home and the offer of drying wet gear in front of her aga.

From start to leaving 6 days later Susie made us welcome and meeting other guests at breakfast made the start of the day special especially over a full English breakfast. We used the local bus service to get around and I must say they were polite when asking for directions and at least had a smile on their faces even... More

My wife and I have just returned from a 4 night stay at Alford House. Susie made us very welcome from the start and served tea/biscuits on arrival. We had booked the back bedroom because we prefer a quieter room. The room is smaller than the other two and didn't have a wardrobe, just a chest of drawers for clothes.... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a night to attend a wedding. The location was great, with only a five minute walk to all attractions. The room had everything we needed, was a good size and the bed was extremely comfy. Susie, our host was always on hand and answered any requests or questions we had. The only downside... More

Just returned from a 2 night stay at Alford House and it was delightful! The house was charming and characterful as well as having all of the conveniences and mod cons. Our room was cosy, clean and homely and I slept extremely well. The house was situated near the main road but there was no noise at all and the... More

Stayed for two nights and cost us £75 per night. Found the B and B no problem, parking is at the front of the property and involves some maneuvering to get over the kerb edge? Entrance to the property for guests is the door in the left hand corner not the one where you park your car, anyway arrived to... More

Without doubt the owner is welcoming and helpful; accommodation is clean and pleasant. My room was a tad small for two people but adequate for someone travelling alone. The property is about a ten minute slow walk to Corfe village, which is picture postcard. For such a tiny village it has lots to do and many places for eating-cream teas are... More

This is a great place to stay, we were made to feel very welcome and the rooms were very comfortable. Susie is the perfect hostess and the breakfasts were high quality and delicious, served in a beautiful room. We enjoyed our stay so much we stayed an extra night. The village is picturesque and interesting, only the busy road detracts.... More
