Getting back to nature in a clean, spacious tent, with hot running water and comfy beds. My only point to mention is we are seasoned campers but found this spot noisy purely down to the fact it's in a valley and noise carries very easily. Road noise carried on the breeze as well as countryside sounds of cows, owls in... More

A wonderful location, luxurious tent and Jo was supremely helpful and friendly. Just in the right place to get us out and about to a number of the local attractions. The log burning stove took a couple of goes to get the hang of, but once you get it, very simple and very easy to keep the tent warm and... More

This was our first holiday in the Purbeck area. Knaveswell Farm is a large cottage with 2 big bedrooms, a very good kitchen (dishwasher, large fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, cooker and plenty of storage). TV, video, stereo unit, lots of books, CDs and videos, comfortable settees and dogs welcome. The bathroom could do with refurbishment and the outside needs... More

Fabulous few days in the wonderful Knaveswell Farm. Jo and Paul were so welcoming and hospitable. Our Safari tent was spotless, well stocked and comfortable, catering for families and couples alike. Our children loved collecting fresh eggs and bottle feeding the lambs. Bird song in the morning was blissful along with rolling hills, bluebells and primroses. The surrounding area is... More

Beautifully peaceful and scenic location, fabulously comfortable, excellent location in great area, owners most lovely and helpful.....all in all a perfect cottage! My kids (although aged 9,11 and 13) loved being on a farm so much they got up at 7am every morning to heck feed the lambs! The second bedroom is very spacious so although all three were in... More

We had such a wonderful weekend at Knaveswell Farm. The tents, or "Tenthouse" as it became known to the kids were fantastic! Warm and cosy (and we went in March!) whilst spacious and well equipped. It is certainly the first tent I have been in that has a boiler, a shower and a smoke alarm 😂😍 The owners Jo and... More

My family and I stayed at Knaveswell farm for a 4 night break after recommendations from a friend. I am no camper by any means but this place was my kind of 'camping'! The tents were amazing - so spacious with lots of home comforts (they have been very well thought about). There was a lovely big dining table, a... More

I had stayed at a Featherdown Farm glamping tent before, but this beats it tenfold. So much more comfortable and practical. The tents are pretty new and spotless. The living area is great, comfy leather sofa, big table, stove and proper little kitchen with running water. There is a lovely deck area with picnic table for an evening meal and... More
