Wonderful stay at The Bull Inn. We had booked a Petite Double Room through ‘Mr & Mrs Smith’, however on arrival we were advised we had been upgraded and were led through a courtyard complete with palm trees, greenery and flowers in bloom to a ‘Stable Room’. However, as this room had a shower only, we asked if we could...

One of the best hotel breakfasts! Locally sourced delicious food-same with the evening meal from their restaurant. Our room was upgraded and I loved the Bramley bathroom products in the room. Friendly staff and lovely courtyard garden. Would recommend for a reasonable but good quality couples stay away!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were upgraded without asking. The room, quality of the furnishings and facilities were great. The breakfast bar is one of the best I have seen and we did manage to get great cocktails! Together with seeing the Proclaimers at the Bridport Electric Theatre it was a great weekend. Would definitely go back.

COCKTAIL BAR NOT OPEN ALL WEEK!!!! We booked this hotel for one night as part of a few days away across the south coast. We book it primarily on recommendation about their cocktail bar. o On review of the website the rooms and cocktail bar looked FAB! On arrival we were firstly confronted with a bill at the front desk...

Thank you for choosing to stay at The Bull and for your feedback which we always welcome & appreciate. We are extremely sorry that we did not meet expectations and that this had such a negative impact on your stay. My partner and I enjoyed a lovely break over May bank holiday weekend. The staff are excellent: extremely welcoming, courteous and helpful. The cocktail bar and outside space are charming. The eggs florentine I had for breakfast were the best I've had in ages. The room was beautiful and the bath we had was magnificent. Unfortunately despite looking impressive both...

I stayed with my wife and toddler for two nights. The room was great: appointed and stylish. The staff were fantastic with the baby. The "secret" cocktail bar is very cool and I can say that, even compared with central London, these are very serious cocktail men behind the bar. We didn't eat in the restaurant, instead choosing the more...

The Bull is an excellent example of how to run a small hotel. Creatively designed rooms; a welcoming bar/restaurant; attentive staff; excellent food. We will certainly be coming back to The Bull again.

Enjoyed a two night stay at the Bull this week. Stayed in room 204 which is a petite deluxe. Yes the room is small, but everything in the room is well thought through and the bed was very comfortable. Lovely toiletries and a nice selection of tea and coffee in the room. The hotel offers a bar/restaurant with a charming,...

Excellent Hotel where we celebrated wedding anniversary and birthdays. All the staff were very friendly and helpful when required. Only slight point we had to raise - we stayed in the Red Room and although extra heating was not really needed we couldn't get heated rails in bathroom to work and despite asking, didn't come on during stay. However, minor...

We've just returned from a short break in Broadchurch country, having stayed at the Bull for two nights. The hotel combines a friendly, informal and relaxing setting with good quality (especially bedding, food and service). Both evening meals and both breakfasts were excellent - quality ingredients, cooked superbly. In particular the duck breast, cooked to pink perfection, with haggerty potato...
