Beautiful, quiet hotel in a hidden part of Dorset right near the sea with lovely owners and wonderful staff who couldn't do more for you. The food is amazing and the breakfast has got to be the best we've ever tasted!! The rooms are clean and welcoming with tea, coffee and biscuits and a good bath and shower. We would... More

Food in pub bar very good , service excellent the one downside was how very expensive it was for a pub meal , location and setting excellent. Been here many times and will continue to do so but due to prices could not eat here every night. A saver menu would be great two meals for £12 etc .

Located along a narrow lane, this Hotel is well worth the effort once you get there. Plenty of car parking. Over looking the sea whether from the Smugglers pub/bar serving bar food etc.. or from the residents lounge or dining room. The rooms are spotlessly clean as is the whole hotel. The staff are exceptional, attentive, friendly and nothing is... More

Visited here with work recently and had a really good stay. The location is beautiful and view over the sea is fabulous - very quiet and peaceful. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and breakfast was excellent. Would definitely come back on holiday.

We had a lovely time at this small hotel. Comfortable room, friendly, helpful staff and excellent food added to the beautiful location to give us a great holiday. Well used by walkers treading the southwest coast path which is only a couple of hundred yards down the lane.

Four of us had been for a walk along the beach on a lovely summers evening. We poped in for a drink, sat on the outside terrace with lovely views of the sea. The terrace has a quiet and pleasant ambiance enhanced by the lovely plants and lighting. The terrace of the Smugglers bar is a super place to have... More

Plenty of parking spaces - for easy arrival and departure. To get to the hotel you do need to drive up a very narrow road which joins the hotel to the main road - about half a mile long. Quiet location. Our room (No. 17) was clean, no sea views but bed linen and towels all fresh and clean too.... More

This is the third year of visiting, and what a difference. The bar staff were really friendly and accommodating. You were made to feel welcome, they could not have been more helpful. Food really good and service was quick.
