The hotel is set in a beautiful quiet picturesque location. We stayed in room 3 which had gorgeous sea views . The room has a dark wood four poster bed, which was very comfortable with fresh clean bedding. The en suite wad well equipped and clean. Tea and coffee facilites were replenished each day. The owners and all the staff... More

This has a great location, it is in a pretty village just outside of Bridport and is close to the beach. It had plenty of parking and a lounge area with lovely viewsThe staff were good about letting us check in early and the breakfast was very nice. The room was quite dated looking and I felt that overall it... More

This was our first visit to this hotel and we will definitely be back. The room was very comfortable and the view beautiful. The staff were all most helpful and dealt with my request for a gluten free diet without any problems, in fact the bread roll was one of the best I've had. Even the weather did it's very... More

We stayed here for 5 nights and found it very good all round. The bar and waiting staff were particularly pleasant and helpful, the room (we were in number 4) was a good size, spotlessly clean and with a really comfortable bed. The sea view, whilst not extensive, was very nice. The bathroom, again spotless, was what you might call... More

Although not staying at the hotel this time (though we did, years ago), we were elsewhere in Eype for four nights, coming for bar meal on the terrace on two nights, last week. This was all very good in terms of food, and the view is lovely. Staff were particularly friendly and professional. Hope to be back sometime - maybe... More

Location Not much around, I've not had a massive explore. Beautiful view in the beer garden overlooking the sea. Can't imagine it's very busy at all in the winter Room Reasonable size double room with all your standard features. Bottled water is nice. Not many places do that now. However it feels dirty. Quite dated. The bathroom needs an overhaul.... More

We stayed here for one night at the end of June. The hotel is beautifully located with stunning views of Eype's Mouth. The staff were very friendly and obliging. Sadly, the room was a little dated, one of the bins had not been emptied from the previous occupant and the dinner left much to be desired, both in the quality... More

Set in the small Dorset village of Eype, near Bridport, Eype's Mouth Country Hotel is a family run 17 bedroom hotel. With superb sea views and only a few minutes walk to the beach, the hotel occupies a unique position on the Heritage Coastline. This stunning location, recently filmed Broadchurch television drama, provides the opportunity to walk along the Coastal Path with much to explore and observe for the keen rambler, ornithologist, anthropologist or geologist.Overlooking Lyme Bay and the beautiful coastal path, the Restaurant offers a three course table d'hote menu with plenty of choice for each course. Changed daily, the menu is created by Chef to take advantage of the locally produced foods and includes specialities such as locally caught fish, superb meats and fruit and vegetable farm produce from just north of Bridport. The Admirals Bar is located on the ground floor and open all day to residents. Perfect for pre-dinner drinks, sit and relax over a well deserved aperitif and a few nibbles and peruse the menu.
