Arriving on a dark, cold November evening, there was a warm welcome from our hostess and from the wood stove in the spacious hall. Rooms were spotlessly clean, well-equipped, warm and with extremely comfortable beds in the twin-bedded room. The beautiful countryside of west Dorset surrounds the house in its quiet location. Breakfast was of the same high quality as...

We stayed just the one night and payed a little extra, but it was well worth it. There is plenty of parking, the house was warm as was the welcome. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. One was ensuite and one had a separate bathroom. Beds were large and soft and the location was silent. Breakfast was one of...

Carolyn is very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Home made cakes every day! The room was very spacious and comfortable with a beautiful view.Delicious breakfast with good choice of everything even though we declined a cooked breakfast. Shame the bathroom for the twin room isn't en-suite but the price reflects that and it isn't really a problem as...
