Lovely welcome otherwise all was disappointing There was a stale smell and old carpets, in our 4 poster bedroom which is one of the more expensive rooms in the hotel, the en-suite shower room (no bath) which was very small and basic. Their policy at peak season is to charge for DBB for £290 a night and they only allow...

My Wife and I found the Bridge House to be confortable and staff very friendly, we found the Room 3 fairly Noisey from the road and in our opinuin a little expensive. we had the evening meal as part of our stay on both nights. The location is excellent for exploring West Dorset. The food at the Bridge house is...

Had a delicious cream team with 2 warm scones each, homemade jam and lots of clotted cream when we arrived. Our room was very spacious, lovely comfortable large bed and nice toiletries. The gardens were lovely and there is a large covered terraced area with outside heaters and rugs. Had some drinks an canapés before dinner in the lounge -...

We quite enjoyed this hotel. The rooms were nicely appointed. We were a short drive to Bridport. Despite some confusion with meals, etc at dinner - when the correct drinks and meals arrived they were very nice. Most of the staff were very friendly and the majority were new at the time we visited so we expected a few teething...

A booking made for D, B&B at short notice which was a lovely treat en route to the Dorset coast. Fantastic old building oozing charm and style. The staff were all lovely. We had a delicious supper in the beautiful and cosy old restaurant - there is a conservatory but this looked less appealing. Our room was in the courtyard...

We stayed one night at this charming small hotel. All the staff friendly and efficient. Our room was a good size and nicely furnished. We enjoyed our welcome tea and biscuits in the sun in the nice garden. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant, my mackerel starter was great and my wife thought her fish and chips main...
