Stopped in here as wanted a crab sandwich and some Dorset apple cake. Beautiful setting and the owners were very friendly and attentive, even giving my daughter some food to feed the fish. Could not fault anything.

Amazing tea room with very friendly staff and fantastic food!!! I can't wait to go back to try their high tea!! There is lovely indoor and outside seating and the decor is stunning. I had the abbotsbury platter with ham, blue vinny and a delicious homemade chutney followed by warm apple cake, perfect!!

What a jem. Beautiful setting. Superb cream tea. Home made jam in a glass dish, not those awful plastic pots. This is a must visit. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The whole experience was just what we needed.

Very pretty tearooms and we were all happy with our choices of food (scones and sandwiches) and drinks (teas and glasses of milk!). Reasonable prices. Friendly, helpful staff. Could have been a bit more generous with the mustard (a teaspoon at most in a little glass dish - didn't go very far...!).

We popped in for lunch as we were passing and found a table in the garden beside a delightfully fragrant jasmine. The garden is really lovely, and they have blankets to lie on the grass if you wish. The menu was very tempting and the food and drinks just what we were looking for. Service was friendly and helpful, and... More

Wow, what a little gem. For years I have driven passed this place in Abbotsbury and wondered what it would be like inside. Whish I had done it sooner. Cottage shoe inside well decorated. It was a lovely day so we chose to sit in the garden. Patio area at first then a lawned garden leading up to a large... More

We visited today, had tea for two, an Abbotsbury platter(a beautiful ploughmans type lunch) & a panini. All absolutely perfect with lovely salad & divine dressing. Had to finish with the Dorset apple cake, although there was plenty of choice of other cake varieties. Will be back to sample again, during our break. Oh & the staff & owners couldn't... More

Abbotsbury Dorset worth a trip: quaint old village with Abbey, swans, gardens, pebble beach, long/short walks and after exploring make for the Abbotsbury Tea Rooms with real cream teas and cakes right in the center of it all. Good stuff !!

We arrived a bit hot and bothered after a long day walking the South West Coast Path. Lynne welcomed us, took us out to their beautifully kept garden, made sure we were comfortable before arranging for a very welcome complimentary pot of tea. There was an excellent selection of cakes on display and we couldn't resist adding one each of... More

We went for afternoon tea (sandwiches and cake) after a miserable experience trying to obtain Sunday lunch at the Hive beach cafe in Burton Bradstock. What a difference. The Abbey was very very busy, but we were seated straight away, given menus, and told that it might though take a while to get to us. So we sat an enjoyed... More
