As a party of 4 we had 3 different meals. Good traditional pub food, sound value in basic surroundings with genuine old fashioned hospitality. Dog friendly with dogs getting a few treats also.

Arrived on bank holiday Saturday for a 2 night stay booked via booking.com. Greeted by a member of the bar staff who showed us to our room (no. 7). Room wasn't the biggest. Equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, small tv and a heater.
