Overlooking the river, our room had stunning views with doors that opened over the river. We were woken up by the ducks, there were numerous birds to see, sheep on the hills and the sound of water travelling up the creek, it doesn't get any better. Even the wifi was great! Lovely welcome, breakfast superb, thanks to Felicity and Roger...

We stayed here for a Friday / Saturday night during November 2016 for a relaxing weekend in the countryside. The property is set in an idyllic location on a tributary of the Dart with wonderful views from the guest bedrooms over the river and to the farmland beyond, Very quiet, no light pollution and a wonderful centre for walking locally,...

Fabulous hosts very welcoming and always keen to help and advise on how to make the most of your stay. Delicious breakfast and clean comfortable room with great views over bow creek. Lovely peaceful garden to sit and birdwatch or simply relax. Perfect place to explore this beautiful part of Devon. Highly recommended.

An idyllic location just by a tidal creek on the Dart River. The bedrooms overlook the water, and there is a beautiful riverside garden. Hosts Felicity and Roger are very kind and it feels more like a visit to attentive friends than a b&b. Breakfast was delicious, with a range of cooked options, complemented by fresh fruit salad, yoghurt and...

Brilliant hosts, wonderful breakfast, amazing views and location. An extremely idyllic setting with everything anyone could ask for. The resident Kingfisher was a sight to remember, so too were the ducks and swans. Tony and Jane

No need to prevaricate about choice of superlatives as this B&B is just perfect. An idyllic setting and wonderful friendly and consiiderate hosts. I don't recommend bringing the Bentley down these narrow country lanes!!

One could not fault this B&B, well up in the usual Sawday's tradition of excellence. The rooms were divine overlooking the dart tributary which, because of the tide, was a constantly changing view. The hosts were brilliant and the breakfasts wonderful. A truly terrific experience; we will be back!

The location is lovely and our rooms were comfortable. Everything you need including binoculars! I second the pleasure of just watching the river and the birds. We had a small accident with our car and Roger really went beyond the call of duty to help us. Thank you once again. Roger cooks a super breakfast and there is a very...

We stayed here a month ago and we loved it. We just wanted somewhere to get away from it all. If you want to be far away from everyone but close enough to visit things, this is the place. The breakfasts were stunning and Felicity is such a wonderful host. Lovely place to go for walks and even better.....you can...
