Booked a superior room with seaview and everything was just perfect. Read a mixture of reports about the food, but with we ate there one evening - needn't have worried though as everything re the food and service was, yes you've guessed it, just perfect. All of the staff were so helpful and friendly, the Management must be proud of the... ... And found this to be a perfect place to sit in a great atmosphere with nice lighting and while away an hour with a very nice glass or two of red wine. The staff were really friendly and flora the dog came to say hello too. Nice to see a dog grey fly place like this in the village.

The staff here were really friendly and helpful from when we first arrived. Our room was at the rear of the property ( as all the sea view rooms were booked up). Still a lovely room and a quirky idea to give us a virtual sea view via the TV. Food was good and the location was great. We would... More

Stayed in this quirky little place for three nights. Our room in the main building had great views, was very comfortable and well-appointed. Breakfast was mainly good and the restaurant better than we had expected with a good range of food and excellent ales.

My wife and I stated here at May Bank Holiday in 2015 as we were looking forward to a gig at the Riviera (featuring The Shed). At that time The Ness needed a little refurbishment. We returned in September 2016 for a friend's wedding and were not disappointed. I've given it five stars here but there was room for improvement... More

We often have Sunday Lunch at The Ness but we usually sit outside with the dog. Today, left dog at home and dined inside - sitting in an upended boat! ( you will have to visit to see what I mean!). The food, as always, was delicious. It suits me because I can have a Smaller Portion Roastie. The staff... More

We have stayed at the Ness many times. We come every year as a family and stay in rooms 9,10 and 11. We always come for the Regatta which is held on the August bank holiday weekend. The rooms are very spacious and are decorated to a very high standard. They are in the hotel annexe and are all next... More

Myself and my Husband recently stayed here as a 'mini moon' brought for us by a friend. From our arrival to departure the staff were friendly, attentive and professional, we were treated like royalty! Our room was amazing, the view was stunning and there was a great amount of attention to detail, I was even able to enjoy a relaxing... More
