Very nice traditional b&b. Excellent location next door to the London Inn where we had an excellent Sunday roast. Our cottage rooms were extremely clean and well stocked. Terrific location and good area for dog walking. Slightly old fashioned but in the nicest possible way. Traditional decor but well kept and top quality. Linda and Robert were extremely helpful and... For the money, £110 per night we were placed in a small room built into the roof where head room was restricted and toilet etc were via a saniflo pump system so very noisy to the extent you didnt want to use after 8pm for fear of waking other guests. But by far the worst thing is directly outside the... More

Very sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us, thousands of people have stayed in this room over the years without complaint, as you can see from previous reviews both on this site. Booking.com and our own web site. Now the Sea gulls have gone we are putting in place safe measures to deter them from visiting our roof... More

Having checked Trip Advisor and the lowest review gave it 4 stars, this place is just incredible. Our "room" was an apartment, and just perfect. Host Robert and Linda are brilliant and breakfast, the selection is a lot better than a lot of hotels. I could not find anything that would make me give this anything less than 5 stars.

We stayed 2 nights while visiting the area we received a very friendly welcome. Staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was excellent a very good choice and fresh local produce. I had the English breakfast and also eggs Benedict both well cooked. Parking was in their private car park. We would definitely return.

Lovely little B&B! Very good location, close to the beach, nice welcoming hosts, nicely decorated room with massive modern shower room, lovely breakfast. Stayed there for a night on Valentines day 2016. Bought a voucher on groupon, was very good value for money. Will definitely stay there again.

I knew nothing about the area when I booked this accommodation as we were walking the coast path, but Shaldon made a great stop. Potters mooring is well placed for the town with a car park outside and the excellent London Inn next door. Our room was lovely with a newly fitted shower ensuite and its own entrance which was... Set in the picturesque Shaldon my wife and I with our dog have been fortunate to have just spent a three night stay at Potters Mooring. The whole experience was superb from the minute we arrived. The friendly welcome from the hosts and their dogs to the comfortable accommodation itself. We stayed in the Smugglers Suite which met all our... More

The owners were so helpful, friendly, flexible and accommodating with our complex family needs of 10 adults and 1 dog. The food was fantastic, so was the service and you could choose what you wanted when you sat down for breakfast - any time between 8.00 till 10.00 without stating what time the night before. The bedrooms lovely and the... More

The Hotel has the personal touch making you feel very at home. It is located next to The Village Pub. Both businesses are dog friendly and located a stones throw away from the Beach and face the Village Green. The outlook is favourable whichever way you look. Breakfast is of the best quality local bacon, eggs, sausages, etc. Limited Parking... More
