I first came here with my parents in 1947, when it was just one small field. a single chemical loo and a water tap. It was still a working farm then.
Things have moved on from those days and the site is much bigger and better.
It is not always easy to find a level pitch, and some

This was a gorgeous semi wild campsite, with acres of ground available and the views were to die for (see photo).
Amazing walks on the doorstep and access to a number of brilliant beaches - local pubs, bistro, and chippy just a short walk away.
Facilities very good and very clean

A camp site that has everything in terms of accommodation but chose to camp and what a range of pitches. Don’t expect the flat, well laid out pitches; expect the view, the sunset over Lundy Island; the crashing of the waves on the shore below (alongside whatever the elements chos

Just returned from a week at North Morte farm. Quite unlucky with the weather considering it had been so glorious for the weeks before our arrival! We were in a motorhome so kept sheltered from the elements, but the camping fields - though beautiful - got quite a battering! The c

Came here with my friend and we had a lovely week, we didn’t realise how big the campsite was. The shop is very convenient if you don’t have a fridge although it usually only has 1 brand of each meat and the pastries sell out quite quickly! Our pitch was on a hill which was sligh

Do you have any facilities for campers to charge their mobiles and also to re-freeze freezer blocks? Also if you book in and pay for a week but the weather isnt friendly can you cancel and get a refund?
A quick look on their site lists free Wifi, but nothing about phone charging. They do NOT have mains hookups for tents. According to their site, "Refunds will not be given for inclement weather or curtailment of stay", which I think is pretty standard in all the sites I have been to.

is the camp site flat
Contrary to previous answers, there is a single small flat area for a couple of tents but up near the top, however, this is open to the wind.... which can be ferocious and is claimed by those who already know the site. On a two day stay we've had both gales, so bad we had to park the car in front of the wind break, which was in front of the tent. The second day was dead calm with gorgeous sunshine (it made the stay worthwhile)

HI , Need advice, all reports are excellent for North Morte farm and Damage Barton caravan site. We have an 8-5 metre motor home and once we are hooked up we usually walk most places,we wondered which is the most convenient for walking and good views, convenient for eating places or small shops.Any one can advice would grateful regards.
They do have a big dog walking field there but also massive costal walks you can go on , also woolacombe beach is ten mins ish drive away at the bottom of the hill which at the back part of you can take dogs on the beach ( which we found was better quieter and away from the fish and chip and ice cream vans that turned up and parked on the beach to ruin the view) hope this helps a little

"We had a pitch, not a static caravan, but there are plenty of nice plots."
"Best view in the camping fields, but no electric hook up"
"Camping for tents, caravan parking sites and caravan static motor home hire."
"Camp site and static caravans only"
"When camping, the lower you go the quieter, but also the further you will be from amenities."
