We arrived for our weekend break to friendly, welcoming staff, which got us off to a great start but unfortunately the set up of this farmhouse B&B didn't live up to our expectations. Our ground floor room was very traditional, with a country-style decor. Quite dated but in keeping with the house itself. We didn't have our own bathroom however,...

Spent two nights at this farm house bed and breakfast in Galmpton near Hope Cove. Friendly and helpful staff. Shown to our room via a short labyrinth of corridors (full of clothes and junk blocking any safe exit in an emergency) via the farm kitchen, through a small lounge with people watching tv...? Nice enough room complete with emergency pull...

We stayed here as a family, 2 double rooms, for one night, on a trip to visit our son who has a summer job in South Devon. It isn't the easiest place to find, but it is part of a working farm, surrounded by farm outbuildings. Our rooms, though small, were comfortably furnished, ensuite bathrooms, TVs, and refreshment facilities. We...

Had trouble actually finding the building I was staying in as it is in the middle of nowhere and not that well sign posted (ended up in a farm, then a farm yard) and is very tight getting to carpark if in a large van as I was. Anyway parked up on a very wet and windy night and entered...

My two sisters and I wanted a place to take our very elderly parents to for a short holiday, and this farmhouse was perfect! Staff were all so caring and kind, there were disabled facilities available for the elderly and frail, and a beautiful rural setting in the S Devon countryside. Breakfast was excellent, and a generous sandwich tea was...

Abit dated the decor etc & the staff serving breakfast was very slow. It would be more appropriate if staff dressed less scruffy. I would not use this b&b again Bedroom abit cramped not value for money

The staff are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast delicious and the beds comfy, but the rest of it is like great grannies time warp. Please, please, please change the crockery used at breakfast, it is really awful.

I stayed at Burton Farmhouse, which is set up a peaceful country lane, with my mum for one night on a flying trip to Devon for a funeral. After an initial mix up with our booking, we found the staff very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. My room was pretty small, but the bed was comfortable...

A lovely working farm house with a warm welcome. We had a nice comfy double room with en-suite, TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast was a buffet of cereals, toast, yoghurts and fruit with a full English cooked to order. My only disappointment was the advertised Restaurant was closed but there are a couple of good pubs within 2 miles....
