My two sisters and I wanted a place to take our very elderly parents to for a short holiday, and this farmhouse was perfect! Staff were all so caring and kind, there were disabled facilities available for the elderly and frail, and a beautiful rural setting in the S Devon countryside. Breakfast was excellent, and a generous sandwich tea was... More

Stayed here for 2 nights as I was playing golf at Bigbury. A working farm with some of the barns being transformed into holiday lets. A single room that was very light and a good size with a very presentable ensuite and a very comfortable bedThe breakfast room looked out over the lawns and patio area which had plenty of... More

Abit dated the decor etc & the staff serving breakfast was very slow. It would be more appropriate if staff dressed less scruffy. I would not use this b&b again Bedroom abit cramped not value for money

The staff are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast delicious and the beds comfy, but the rest of it is like great grannies time warp. Please, please, please change the crockery used at breakfast, it is really awful.

I stayed at Burton Farmhouse, which is set up a peaceful country lane, with my mum for one night on a flying trip to Devon for a funeral. After an initial mix up with our booking, we found the staff very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. My room was pretty small, but the bed was comfortable... More

A lovely working farm house with a warm welcome. We had a nice comfy double room with en-suite, TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast was a buffet of cereals, toast, yoghurts and fruit with a full English cooked to order. My only disappointment was the advertised Restaurant was closed but there are a couple of good pubs within 2 miles.... More

We visit Kingsbridge regularly to visit family. Normally we rent a cottage because we are there for a week. This summer we just wanted two nights, and found Burton Farmhouse on several hotel booking web sites. It had great reviews, and they are well deserved. It is in a perfect location (for us) - just a mile or so from... More

I stayed for two nights recently at this lovely B&B farmhouse. The room I stayed in (Lily) was lovely and the bed was really comfortable and most probably had the best sleep I've had in a long time. There isn't an en-suite for this room but the shower/wet room is just opposite and very clean, the only thing that slightly... More

This is quite a large farmhouse B&B close to the village of Galmpton, conveniently between Hope Cove and Malborough - ideal for walking along the cliffs between Bolt Head and Bolt Tail. It's quite a large establishment, currently being extended. I had a single room which was large, homely and well-equipped. The only negative point was a low-level electrical hum... More

Needed to stay somewhere last minute in the Kingsbridge area and came across this B&B. We arrived late and that was not a problem; our rooms were clean and tidy with ensuite. The beds were very comfortable - always an issue when staying somewhere, as to what state our backs will be in the following morning. Plus, the downstairs room... More
