We chose to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary at Keynedon Mill as we had visited for a previous anniversary. It is impossible to explain how beautiful Keynedon really is! Jeni and Stuart are so lovely and their attention to every detail is remarkable. On arrival, a delicious afternoon tea was waiting for us and our room was once again ...perfect!... More

We stayed for four nights with friends. The mill is in an ideal location to explore the South Devon area and was a short drive to the coast. The house is situated on a quiet country lane with minimal passing traffic. The gardens are lovely with unlimited access. Our bedroom was comfortable and had the benefit of a good sized... More

What a find! We stayed here for a wedding nearby and tacked on an extra couple of days to make a long weekend break. We knew we'd made the right decision as soon as we arrived at the beautifully decorated mill and were immediately offered drinks on the terrace by the lovely owners, Stuart and Jeni! As well as the... More

This is a great place, the breakfast was freshly cooked utilising local produce and was fantastic, my room was spotlessly clean, warm, comfortable and was beautifully furnished. Perfect location close to many good eating establishments and beaches with plenty of parking. Best B & B I have ever stayed in!

Spent a very enjoyable weekend, relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings with perfect hosts that welcomed us into their home. Particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast and purchase from the little shop of goodies on the landing, all proceeds donated to charity.

Our second visit to the wonderful Keynedon Mill with a lovely warm welcome from Jeni & Stuart. After depositing our belongings in our delightful room we enjoyed a lovely pot of tea & homemade cake in the guest lounge which was just what we needed after our long drive down from London. Breakfasts again were just lovely - love the... More

We have just spent three nights at this beautiful old mill house with our daughter and son in law. It is set in idyllic surroundings and perfectly located for exploring the stunning South Hams. Jeni and Stuart are genuine and natural hosts. They made us all feel immediately at home with a welcoming cream tea served in front of the... More

The photos and website do not do this place justice! The mill is decorated to perfection, with white company everywhere you look. Smells like a spa, even though you are in the middle of the country side! Beaches are within a short drive, and the hosts could not have been lovelier. Little surprises greeted us each day, with a great... More

Lovely property with a large comfortable guest lounge and plenty of loungers and chairs in the very pretty gardens to enjoy reading, chatting and the delicious scones with jam and cream that Jeni brings to you. Jeni and Stuart are delightful hosts, very helpful with maps and information about the area. Breakfast includes raspberries freshly picked from the garden; cooked-to-order... More

What can I say that hasn't been said already? We always look for B&Bs in preference to hotels because you get a far more personal experience and much more individuality in terms of decor and environment. Jeni and Stuart deliver on both fronts; indeed they 'out-deliver' if there is such a term. We have seldom stayed anywhere more historically interesting,... More
