Comical maze of 1970's decor corridors and soulless public rooms. If you enjoyed your school lunches you'll have no issue with the food. Give wide berth if you're a foodie. Wifi in our room was non-existent which kids found a bore. Sports and crafts we couldn't fault, and the staff were excellent in both hotel and sports.

As a 3 star property I am giving this place 5 stars as it exceeded my expectations with all its facilities. It was ALL very clean in all areas. We would go again and again, so long as you have someone who enjoys all the different sports as yourself you will NOT get bored. The only thing I recommend is...

Basic but clean rooms, all quite a maze and a bit quirky - food good, service good. Lots to do but not great for little ones not enough outside space for them to run around be better for kids7plus Good value for money

After reading some reviews there were sown concerns about the place but it truly surprised me..!! We had a family room which was absolutely fine.. it all needs a good update and it's certainly not my taste in decor but really that's not why you're there..! The activities were great not many places you can go to where it's a...

Manor House never fails to deliver. This was our second visit and was even better than the first time. Facilities like Ice Skating, Roller Skating have been added to the impressive selection things already available. There are craft workshops, Bollywood Dance classes, Yoga, Pilates and a Fitness Studio. When you add the delicious food to the mix you cannot fail...

I have reviewed this hotel before but since our last review it has improved further. In particular, there is now a large artificial ice rink, both for skating and for great fun curling competitions, replacing the old curling that took place in one of the bowls halls. This is far better and really not too slippery with the special overshoes...

Me and my 2 children have just returned from a 4 night midweek break. It was really great! We were accommodated close to reception and dining room. You get a table assigned for your stay which I found great as it's a very big dining room(200 +rooms in the hotel) and you don't have to look for a table first....

My single room was a cupboard.and the bathroom sink, taps and toilet bowl had not been properly cleaned. Black mould was growing in the shower. On arrival at 11.00am, most of the time slots for activities were completely filled which meant the choice was very limited. The instructors on some of the craft activities (glass painting and silk painting) were...

One does not stay here for the room. One stays for the amenities! However, that said, my room, with shower, was clean and comfortable, with free Wi-Fi and Freeview TV, and the telephone was charged at cost. As a single room it was spacious enough, albeit a little bit oddly shaped, but as I spent very little time in my...
