Had to leave a review , having had a wonderful Sunday lunch at Lympstone Manor. Food and staff were amazing. We left feeling that we would love to return and stay at the hotel. Beautifully presented food, attentive friendly and knowledgable staff, extensive grounds and views. A big thank you to all the staff today who helped to give myself and my husband a very relaxing and delightful experience. We will be back

WOW! From the moment you book your room you know from the conversation with the receptionist that this is going to be something unique. Arriving at the hotel everything appears to be just perfect, the very polite gardener, well manicured gardens, great looking Grade II-listed Georgian manor house and vineyard set in the tranquil South Devon countryside overlooking the river Exe. Walk through the front door & the extraordinary experience goes up a gear. Attentive, polite & very knowledgeable staff make check in & finding your room effortless. The rooms & suites are exquisite & the views stunning. Pop down to the lounge area for afternoon tea & just relax whilst enjoying what ever tea, or coffee, takes your fancy whilst tucking in to some wonderful homemade biscuits. A little later my wife & I enjoyed a champagne aperitif accompanied by a selection of appetizers. After half an hour we were escorted to the dining room & treated to the most amazing eight course Signature Tasting Menu with accompanying wines. I have never experienced anything like this before, the food, wine, service etc. were all absolutely....WOW...stunning...fantastic... there aren't any superlatives that could sum up this experience.. Retiring to the lounge for a nightcap & some wonderful homemade petit fours made a perfect end to a perfect evening. Breakfast. After the experience the previous day how could this wonderful hotel get any better? Please treat yourselves & visit this wonderful hotel & then you will know how our stay ended. Thank you Michael Caines & your amazing team, we will definitely visit you all again.

We came to Lympstone Manor to celebrate my 60th birthday and booked the Nappa Valley gala evening. I love the cuisine designed and presented by Michael Caines, who generously introduced the evening for us and his extraordinary attention to detail and sublime flavour pairings were beyond excellent. We could not have been more delighted with our stay. We chose Oystercatcher room which had the most fabulous views and was absolutely the luxury that we were looking for.. The grounds are beautiful with stunning views at every turn, and to walk amongst fabulous sculptures set in the landscape was a treat. I cant thank you all enough for the excellent hospitality and especially to Michael for whom I have the utmost admiration. Thank you

Wow...what a stunning place, from the time we both arrived to when we left it was personal service! a doorman(sorry didn't get his name) offered to get my husband's specs from the car, how great was that!! the appitiser, starter, main and desserts, were amazing, so tasty, presentation is outstanding! I don't like cumin on my food so the chef didn't hesitate not to put in any part of my meal the fish was lovely. The staff work hard, and work together extremely well, they are all a great asset to the hotel! the timing on the courses are fantastic, what a fantastic place, and made my husband's birthday memorable!! shall look forward to returning to this relaxing, stunning manor+ thanks again Debbie and Rich
