The room although small was clean and the bed comfy and its in a good location, close to everything. Breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The downsides were the parking, as its not clear you have to go round the back; there isn't enough space if all the rooms (3) have a car (how... More

The residence is beautifully clean, well furnished, fast INTERNET, excellent breakfast, service 1st class, and extremely helpful hosts. Stayed for 4 nights from 25/09/16. We had the superior bedroom. The town itself is a very attractive well looked after place.

We spent a couple of pleasant nights here whilst in the area: the property is welcoming and nicely presented, the hosts are very friendly and offer up good advice on the area. The town center and seafront are only a few minutes walk away. We had a double bed room at the rear of the property. It was very clean... More

Spent three nights at this charming guest house to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were in the superior twin room which was spacious and contained a settee and easy chair. The en-suite shower room was small but functional. The room was attractively furnished and contained everything needed for a pleasant stay. The breakfast was really good with enough choice from... A very warm welcome and shown to our room immediately. Nice room, very clean, but a little small no doubt due to the installation of the en-suite shower & loo. Good location, very quiet and only about 100m from a bus stop (No 57 to Exeter). Bed was most comfortable then a superb Breakfast in a pleasant dining room which... More

Lovely people and perfect location for beach and town alike. Breakfast was everything you could want and perfectly cooked. En suite a little small and had just a shower but I believe the other rooms are bigger.

My wife and I chose The Swallows for B&B for an early Spring two-night break on the East Devon coast and were not disappointed. The room was simply furnished but spotlessly clean, comfortable and also warm, which was welcome as the weather was... More
