This is our 2nd stay here this year, what a treasure trove it is. The hosts Nick & Rachael areal welcoming & nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spotlessly clean & the beds so comfortable & I have a bad back. All the food is grown & sourced locally & cooked by Rachel. She can tell you which...

We have just returned from another break at Blair Lodge, our number one choice of guest house. Rachel and Nick are everything you could wish for in owners, being very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them in making your stay as perfect as possible. We were welcomed with tea and homemade cake which was delicious. Rachel is...

A small guest house on the coast with sea views. Situated on a 'no through' road so no passing traffic. Magnificent coastal walks on the door step. Rachael serves home cooked food with a choice of menu each evening. We only planned to eat there the first night but having enjoyed our meal and the reasonably priced wine menu we...

Blair Lodge is everything a guest house should be. Rachel & Nick give everyone a really warm welcome. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Really friendly atmosphere. Rachel's super breakfasts and dinners mean you do not need to venture out in the evening if you are not in the mood to hunt for an evening meal.

We had a lovely early September 3 night break. On arrival we were welcomed by Rachel and Nick a pot of tea and a delicious piece of homemade cake. Our spotlessly clean sea view room, the wonderful food and our host's attention to detail made for a memorable visit. Will return.

Attended a superb Italian immersion course held by a friend of the owner over last weekend (9 to 11 Sept). The house is fine with a relaxing lounge and rooms have good hanging space, comfortable beds and pillows, hairdryer (fixed into a drawer), small shower and windows which open. A nice touch is that the kettle fits into a socket...

Just returned from a lovely weekend at combe martin. There for an Italian course run from this gem of a guest house. Great food and attention to detail .The hosts could not have been more welcoming or helpful. Combe Martin is a lovely little town with a small beach that is unspoilt and on the coast path.
