we have stayed at the acorns a few times now, and we always have a lovely visit. from the warm welcome, lovely clean rooms and superb breakfast, it really is a home from home. it is a short walk into Combe Martin, which is a beautiful little place. we will be returning again as soon as we can.

Found this guest house last minute and read the trip advisor reviews. The guest house is lovely and friendly just a short walk to the beach and village down the hill. Combe Martin is a beautiful bay and village, breathtaking views and a nice little seaside village. We had a small double which was comfortable and ideal for a short... More

Parking- safe and off the road. Room and ensuite- clean, beautifully decorated, very comfortable, coffee facilities great, shower wonderful and warm, with toiletries supplied. Breakfast - vegan and veggie and gluten free catered for very very well, as well as normal people like my wife!! Packed lunches in vegan and veggie again embraced. This is a charming Victorian B & B close to the sea. Firstly, the hospitality giving to us by Denise and Steve was outstanding. They were always there to give us honest advise about what to see or where to eat. Never intrusive, just right. There were so accommodating and the breakfast was really great. They done a mix to... Stayed three nights with my dog Ellie this time. I was staying in a local caravan, but aborted that due to the cold, damp conditions and bad weather. walking into Acorns was warm and welcoming complete with a log fire in the lounge bar. My room was clean and warm, quiet, and the bed so comfy. I felt so at... More

Friendly welcome with a place for your muddy footwear and a nice hot cup of tea - which was most appreciated after 12 miles of coastal walking. The room was a little chilly and the bed not particularly comfortable but the breakfast was nice. Right on the south coast footpath so excellent for walkers.

Thank you for taking the time to review, we are sorry you found the room a little chilly, you could have asked us for additional heating. The mattress and pillows in this room are new which are both medium, which satisfies most guests. We are disappointed with this low score and wish you had mentioned any concerns when you stayed...
